Everything went smoothly, thanks for the non-shady txfr, would recommend dealing with this guy!

Seems like this game is pretty popular, where's all the hype come from? First one was awesome?

To put it one way, I bought the game at I think 7PM one night, started playing around 9PM, and finished the game sometime around 4AM.  I've wished so many times that I could forget all about the game and play it again to experience it with a fresh mind.  I would easily call it my favorite video game, and Portal 2 is looking like it will easily live up to the standard set by the original.

HA!  My brother came to visit me once and was wondering what all the hype was about.  We were going to play through it together, and started and finished about the same times that you did... the only catch was that there was no "we" - he got so into it that I never got a turn.  XD

BTC received, Steam gift sent.

Piggybacking on this thread, I too am willing to buy the pre-order of Portal 2 for BTC, but I want the PS3 version, and I think the best place for me to get it is at amazon uk. So I'll be wanting a £32.91 gift card, any takers? Name your price.

Do you know if USD Amazon gift cards can be redeemed on Amazon UK?  If so, I would be willing to purchase a 15 USD gift card to get you part of the way there.  (I have a VISA gift card I'm trying to exchange for BTC and this seems like the best avenue to do that.)

Nope, amazon gift cards are localized. You can, however, buy on the uk site using the VISA gift card, that would work for me just fine, but it might be hit or miss to get the correct USD amount when doing a GBP transaction, and fees will certainly be added.

I do not have an OTC rating but you look to be fairly reputable, and I have never been burned by a BTC scammer, so I am willing to just send you the BTC beforehand as a gesture of trust, and this is a fairly small transaction anyways.

Sounds good to me.  I will PM you an address to send the BTC to.  Please reply to that and let me know which email address you would like me to send the Steam gift to.

Will currently pay 57BTC for portal 2 preorder (44.99USD on steam) or adjusted rates on mtgox. Would prefer to deal with someone who has successful past dealings(i.e. otc).

Do you have an OTC rating?  I would not be comfortable engaging in this transaction unless you had a positive OTC rating traceable from one of the voiced members.

(Disclosure: I don't have an OTC rating at the moment, but since you can put the BTC in escrow you are safe.)

I'd be willing to do it as long as you pay first.  I don't have OTC but I already did this once with bitcoin2cash https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.81757.
