New Yorkers and San Franciscans use protests as an excuse for a street party. It's not very likely that someone in power will care or even notice.
Everyone I know in San Francisco doesn't even hear the message they just hate protesters because they screw up the evening commute. In all the years I've had to detour around downtown because of some idiot protesters blocking off the streets I've never known what they were protesting.

If you are in New York, welcome to my territory....I will be going to the protest dressed as a Sith Lord. I require minions. So far, I have 2 minions, but I require more.
If you are willing to come to the Ulbricht Trial, dressed as a Sith Lord, and hold a certain sign, you will be paid .2 BTC per hour, or FIAT, FIAT would be easier.
I already have the robes and the signs.
