Thanks, I see the 'original' thread was posted about 2 hours before this one.

Also, When I search 'GoldCoin' on forum the original thread doesnt come up ... So I imagine others looking for the client might run into this as well.

I'm grabbing the binaries from that thread and will likewise scan them as well and update here if need be.

The filename on this one is gldcoin-windows.zip

That is a fake announcement thread with infected binaries and for some reason the mods have not taken it down despite the complaints.

Maybe they wanted Goldcoin not to succeed.
