Update January 9, 2018: after wrangling with PayPal and eBay, eBay decided in my favor and is giving me a full refund. It seems eBay was not too impressed with mhouse95's attempt to scam me. I'm relieved now that eBay did the right thing.
I wouldn't be surprised if the scammer (mhouse95) tries to start a new eBay account at this point. So anyone buying a miner on eBay should be wary of new sellers, or anything shipping from the Williamsport, PA area (where mhouse95 is located).

The seller, mhouse95, advertised all over the place it was "new". It wasn't. When I received the miner I plugged it in and immediately the front fan was making these horrible grinding noises. So I logged into the miner interface and, guess what, this guy's pool username was already in there! I was so shocked, I took a screenshot:

So basically he was mining with this until the fan started going out, then he turned around and sold it on eBay as "new", like nobody would notice!!
I opened a refund/return request through eBay and the seller ADMITTED HE LIED. He said: "I did test it. I think the total runtime was lass than one week."

So, he admitted to "testing" it for a week. I think it was a lot longer than that. But either way, testing it for any duration of time means it is USED, not NEW IN BOX!
But wait, it gets better...
Probably realizing he screwed up, mhouse95 offered a full refund and sent me a return shipping label through ebay. So I package it up in the same exact packaging I received it and mailed it back to him. Then I wait. According to the tracking number he received the return on Jan. 5, 2018, but I don't hear anything until today, Jan. 8th. And what does he have to say? He says he didn't get the miner, that there were only ROCKS in the box!! WTF???
So here we are, mhouse95 has my money ($5050 to be exact, $4950 for the miner plus $100 for shipping), AND he has the miner, and he's trying to weasel out of giving me the refund he promised.
Oh, and I almost forgot the best part... I'm sure this is just an amazing coincidence, but right after he received the miner I returned (but says he didn't), he RELISTED the item on eBay and is trying to sell it all over again!
