Topic: Warning about Sig Campaigns scouting for free advertising (Read 265 times)
Yes I can agree with what many of you guys just have posted, but they are still getting free advertising in the end. But most of you guys are absolutely correct. I am probably in the wrong since I am new here, therefore for now Ill close this thread.
I wanted to warn you guys I notice sigs taking days to update there spreadsheet, but the go and post on other threads without even acknowledging the applicants and by doing this they are getting free advertising. Then in two days they wont accept you. If you feel that I am right, then speak your mind, do not take this abuse. As my service here, Tell me what sig campaign is doing that and I will list them here for free.
For me 1-2 day/s is tolerable since there are really managers who thoroughly check quality of posts of applicants. Since the slot is limited, for example 5 members only needed and there are 20 applicants, well they need to check all accounts and it will take time. But yeah taking it for 2.5-5 days to release update for those who got accepted is pretty long and unfair since many applicants are hoping to be accepted already wearing the signature.
The thing is that the campaign managers do not have to answer if they don't want to. On top of that they might just pick the best out of many people who want to join the campaign that they are managing.
There's really no reason of taking anyone at the middle of the week into the campaign so they do not start burst posting, however there are some people who do accept people into campaigns in the middle of the week.
Also you are "warning" people, but you have not listed anyone who has done any that type of things. If you are unhappy, you can always fill a thread against them or make a complaint to the advertiser, simple as that.

Well some campaign managers take days to evaluate their participants to ensure that they only accept those that qualify in their terms. It's not free advertsiement if you don't make a post unless they confirmed that you are acceted or once you see your name listed on the spreadsheet.
