My God, Grin
So the COVIDNOT project is going to save the world by holding an airdrop. For the vaccine to be developed we need to follow them on Facebook and Telegram. That makes sense.

Here is a slogan the project could use.
COVIDNOT! Because who doesn't like the fresh smell of bullshit in the morning?

More and more ignorant people make use of circumstances like this to make traps or scam projects that can harm everyone.
I wouldn't make the mistake of calling these scammers stupid or ignorant. They know exactly what they are doing. Their methods work. The ignorant are those investing in such projects.

not all airdrop named COVID19 is a scam, I found a legit corona coin airdop
20% of their profits are donated to the red cross. many members trade there
As what @mk4 mentioned this isnt proven or at least they say they will do. You should have backed up any proof for this if they really giving it to red cross.

I made an archive of their thread from airdrop and the site.

Covid-themed airdrop scams like this must be destroyed immediately.
There are still many other projects that use the name Covid19 that need to be watched out for.

Another covid19 related project that launched airdrop. I cant count how many covid related airdrops or new project has been created. This one could also be scam.
...

This project was created by two unknown people and one of its goals is to create a vaccine against Covid-19. And this is happening at a time when the best scientists with unlimited budgets are currently working to solve this problem. This really looks like a Scam and I leave a negative tag for it.

That is merely an exception that proves the rule the vast majority of these airdrops is scam, they were created with only one purpose to seize your money in exchange of bullshit. Moreover, this airdrop your mentioned is rather a clear example of hypocrisy of its creators since only a small portion of income goes to the fighting with disease.

?

How do you know that they're actually donating the profits to red cross? What's the use case of the coin in the first place? Creating an airdrop coin specifically for charity makes zero sense no matter how good the intention.

Whether or not the current airdrops are related to covid19, they all are far from being legit. From my point of view, as I have been watching drops posted on social media for more than an year, every airdrop either has enough red flags to be called a scam or provides not enough information for proper investigation, which also might mean it is a scam. All airdrops are remain the same, the only thing that changes is what is currently overhyped, on which the scam airdrop can be based at the moment. No matter how attractive airdrop looks, it is always better to avoid participating in it.
