The only way to fight these is to report them constantly on youtube by everyone who sees it. I mean it was probably the reason why we had this massive fake youtubers purge. The scammers were probably reporting genuine videos in order to gain some more traction for their scams. These are the horrible things that get new people away from investing into crypto unfortunately.

I have searched for the keyword of "Binance Live" and looks like YouTube is still not eliminating these scammers and those screenshots above with the search results is still the one that's showing on me. I wonder what YouTube is doing. Busy tracking down those crypto contents and yet these crypto scammers weren't taken down.

And the sad part, those 3 videos got thousands of viewers and the lowest viewership that I've seen was 3k watching.

I think to some it extent, such scams are one of the reasons youtube decided to ban crypto related videos. There are some people who are still so stupid out they and they can easily fall for such schemes.

Just recently in the same type of youtube crypto giveaway scam, it was reported that scammers managed to steal 309 LTC from stupid folks
- Fake Litecoin Foundation Scam Defrauds 309 LTC from Users
I heard about the Youtube banned some crypto-related videos which i understand something is wrong somewhere but i think there should be a huge penalty for people involved in crypto scam because their act usually end up affecting we genuine crypto users. Mind you, these was what make the US SEC to implanted KYC/AML then.

With all the privacy features of telegram, why can't they come up with an option to block all users from messaging you? I think that's better than giving you the option to block users one by one.

I think most users won't fall for a trick like this. On top of that, blocking all users to message you might give you trouble too, especially if you need to get in touch with new users every now and then.

The best thing you can do is to not have a username, hide your number, and have some awareness about scams.

This is seriously not new, and I'm still surprised to see people fall for a cheap trick like this.
We can't be so certain about users not falling for the tricked posted by the OP and some people's level of dumbness will surprise you sometimes despite their long existence in the crypto sphere. However, the last time i checked the crypto market usually experience more traffic and more new users when halving is coming, during and after halving and the purpose of the scammer could be targeting the newbies.
Therefore, if good the OP links out this scam scope.

They already have this feature where you can block all users from adding you in different group chats but you have the option to allow some of them to add you. Telegram can do the same for messages. Give users the option to not receive any messages from non-contacts but allows them to add who else can message them. If you are expecting some new people to contact you via telegram, then don't use the "block all" option.

You can try it for yourself, used the keyword "Binance Live", and boom, first three search returns point to a fake giveaways and the going down on the list, you can still find many similar channels still alive as of this time.
I did a "Binance giveaway"

After YouTube's rules have been changed, I believe that such content will be removed quickly.
Therefore, you will not find sufficient promotion for such scammers, but awareness must be raised so that people do not fall prey to such scam.
About Telegram:

Go to >> Settings >> Privacy and Security >> Group Invite Settings >> only your friends (or any trusted person.)
This edit will reduce a lot of dealing with scammers.

It used to be blockchain give away but after being exposed they are now going to Binance, people should do their own research if you are actively participating in airdrops, giveaways, and bounty hunting, you should do better, hopefully no one got scammed, or if there is it's only few.

I think this can be tweeted to CZ with the image. So, that the one who are more alive on tweeter will also be safe and there are chances that CZ will tweet that this is a fake campaign on this name.
Even Cz's tweets themselves get such replies of fake giveaways  Grin

Video is not available anymore, people should do common sense when analyzing this kind of offer, and must do due diligence, scammers will always find a way to scam people, this kind of offer is not realistic, and people should always verify on who is giving the offer, or you will always end up an idiot.
Lets keep reporting and be a pain in the bottom for the scammers. Unfortunately people still get scammed no matter what. There are still people out there who are so greedy and ignorant about such schemes to scam them.

Changing tactic to fool some users again. Spamming different telegram groups doesn't work anymore so they shifted to private messages. Don't forget to report to telegram also if you receive one of those messages.
