high likely, that these numbers are fake. never heard this exchange up until now. with those numbers, there should be at least one feedback from trustpilot but there's 0 feedback. but another reddit user posting a warning about this scam exchange .
better stick to reputable exchange sites and not be lured by too-good-to-be-true rewards or bonuses. no one will give you 0.4BTC that easy.
what!! the site market cap is $ 197B?

an old trick that is always used by scammers to attract more customers. since crypto is a big-money business I have never used a new and small exchange because it will most likely end up being a scam, better to stick with the big exchange sites.

I dont 100% know if this is a scam but 100% know that every sign point in this direction and that I feel scammed and I can't go on risking paying another 90-100$ to hope to get the prize they promised. It is right there on the exchange but I can't withdraw them. Any serious exchange would allow me to top up with the remaining of the 0.0032 BTC they demand and not having to deposit ANOTHER 0.0032.

Thank you for reading. I hope someone can figure out more about this

Unfortunately, you definitely got scammed and I'm sorry to hear about your loss. At least you have learned a new lesson.  Tongue

No legit exchange will ask you to make a deposit in order to get 'verified' or have your account 'activated'. This type of scam is quite common in the crypto world and is probably one of the oldest out there.
There are many threads on this forum that list hundreds (or even more) domains of scam exchanges, so if something doesn't smell right, or if you're unsure, never take any action without asking the community first.

As for your deposit (it is a small one thankfully), it is now too late, but such warnings may help to prevent new victims.

Sad to fell for this kind of old scam which has been common.

Who randomly gives you "free money" on an exchange that you have no idea about, but then asks you to make a deposit first in order to verify your withdrawal? A scammer, of course.

What happened: 0.4 btc giveaway from a new exchange, scam? You decide:

Reference Link:https://binoiron.com/
Amount Scammed:91$
Payment Method: Coinbase
Proof of Payment: https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/e12b353370bd3a917e79009793cfcb4d51d3143bc8e798f9464a687ef1ef5e20
PM/Chat Logs:

(the beginning of this chat is deleted by the exchange in question but you will get the point).

Me: Why do you need to delete it? ( answering to the support saying that I have to fund the exchange with 200$ to upgrade to premium before 6 months otherwise my account will be deleted). I've been on Poloniex and Binance for 5 years without being forced to upgrade, deposit or withdraw. This is very uncommon practice. Look. I know you have scammed me for 91usd and now you want to scam me for another 200usd. I will never see any of these 0.4 btc's. Your exchange has no track record. You even say in your TOS that you can discontinue the exchange without any warning or consequences whatsoever. I know. I took a chance and gambled that this is legit and you have put it up quite well so I reckon you will pull a great deal of innocent people into this but what about your honor? how does it feel to steal from people? Look at your Chatbox, just random extracts from Twitter. Nobody replies to my questions in the chatbox, your TOS is not favorable for your users and create no trust and your withdrawal scheme is out of this world. You can have my 91usd but I just want you to admit that this is a scam. I will clap. Clever! but just say it so that I dont have to think that "maaaybe" I won 0.4btc because nothing looks like I did yet. If you are legit I hope you respect my experience of this being a very uncommon and strange practice. My bet is that this exchange is nowhere to be seen in a week. This stuff is new right? The links to your autogenerated news bitcocity and coxnews. It seems like you are related to the old faucetcows. If you are trying to promote your exchange you better let people keep their prizes without risk mate

Binoiron support: We do not scam our users and work in accordance with the law. We also have a team of lawyers who make sure that all conditions are met

Me: Great. May I have chance to talk to your lawyer team? do you have any contact info?

Binoiron support: To begin with, you haven't even verified your account. You have deposited 0.00297 btc. A Needs a minimum of 0.003 btc. Moreover, it is necessary to make a single payment. So how can you accuse the platform of fraud if you have not met even the minimum requirements

Me: I have verified both my email and done the 2FA. I sent exactly 0.003btc like told. I even copied and pasted directly to your wallet address. Coinbase adds 0.00002BTC in fees which is added on top and it says here in my coinbase wallet that I have sent binoiron 0.00302 BTC which should be sufficient for your demands

Binoiron support: You did not take into account your commission on deposit 1%

Me: Look, if you are legit and I can withdraw the prize. I will tell everyone how amazing you are. quite naturally. If I dont get my withdrawal I will do the opposite. This is human nature and I really expect that you help me out. Politeness and helpfulness is the basis for any serious exchange because it is based on trust. I want to trust you. Offcourse, but then I need to know how I can withdraw my prize without having to pay more

Me: OK, so I need to add another 1% then?

Binoiron support: The minimum deposit on our website is 0.003 btc. Only then will your account be verified as the verification system works automatically

Me: OK, so how much more do I need to deposit?

Binoiron support: I recommend making 0.0032 to verify your account

Me: That means another 0.0002 then?

Me: Correct?

Binoiron support: 0.0032

Binoiron support: System works automatically and your account will be verified after you get at least 0.003 BTC deposit.

Binoiron support: It is important to make a deposit in one payment

Me:Cheesy

Me: OK, you might not be ready to admit it, but you know that what you are doing is wrong. Either I pay 1% of 0.003 or I am happy to not receive the prize sir.

Me: This is just not a serious exchange. Have a nice evening, if you are able.

Me: "Due to the state of my country" I can't transfer my ADA. Are you joking me? Crypto is totally legal to buy, sell and mine here. Nothing is good about this exchange. Take my money, take your prize. I would never want to use this exchange for all the money in the world.

Additional Notes: This exchange got to me through Discord and I was stupid enough to fall for it. It's feels like a classic "you have won a lot, please give us 100$ to release your prize" type of scheme. I have never ever experienced any exchange who need you to deposit 100$ in order to withdraw from your exchange wallet. In addition to this they gave me a prize of 0.4 btc but they have a withdrawal 0.3 withdrawal limit for normal users and in order to withdraw the rest you need to upgrade to premium which will cost you another 200$. If this is not a scam, it is probably the baddest behaved exchange I have ever seen as they do not answer politely or offer any kind of help other than repeating themselves and making demands. If you google them, autogenerated cryptonews sites like infokreek.com, bitcocity.com and coxnews.com appear to lull you into the feeling of this being legit. If you check these sites through scamdoc.com their rating is 1% " Very bad trust score : Warning, only for experienced users!" and the reasons are as following:

-The domain name is very recent (less than 6 months)
-The owner of the domain name is hidden: check privacy policies!
-The creation of the domain name is rather recent
-Short life expectancy domain

One more clue. Among Coinmarkedcap.com list of 306 Exchanges, they are not even making the list

I dont 100% know if this is a scam but 100% know that every sign point in this direction and that I feel scammed and I can't go on risking paying another 90-100$ to hope to get the prize they promised.
