Metawin.com - Truly the best casino ever
Thanks for notifying it, really great thank. I don't know why google allows such type of website to be advertised because this is phishing. Now I entered in this website and it shows what account is suspended. People be careful when you are visiting website. Also I think that if we want to enter on blockchain's website, than save it on speed dial in web browser, why use google?

I want to add, that you can try additional precautions and use Ad Block which disables that paid links ads from Google.
It is not the first time, and  probably won't be the last (knowing that Google messed this at least 2 times already) when blockchain.info is spoofed.
Oh. So that's why!

I saw another thread similar to this one, earlier today, I was quite curious so I tried it to see if it would show up on my search as well. Eventually gave up since I couldn't see a single one. Chalked it up to coincidence, timing or something.

Turns out, I have google adblock enabled. Totally forgot about it. lol. That's why I couldn't see anything.  Grin Grin Tongue

Anyway, @OP thanks for the heads up and, Yes I can sort of confirm that google adblock works! heh  Grin Grin Embarrassed Tongue Tongue

IIRC you might have to consider to make this thread in the scam accusations, because this involves scamming alert. Huh
did you make a report about that phishing site, so google can take action to such?

Yes I did make a google report.. Before I made this thread..

My friend was trying to figure out what happened to his blockchain wallet balance and we came to the conclusion that he got got by this scam in the op.. So I thought to post a warning to others..

thanks for this warning . it is a useful news for all bitcoiners who are using desktop wallet .still further with these precautions we need to give some feedback which should be negative to the Google about it .

Lol, why is this news useful to people who are using desktop wallets ? They don't care at all about blockchain.info or any other web wallet. It's good news for newbies who continue to use such wallets. Desktop users like myself are always safe from this kind of scam attempts as we do it all from our client in our desktop and not from a browser.

Google lost control over the internet. Time to move on a different search engine i guess. Sadly there aren't any relaible ones left. Google fuckn ate all of them. It is so sad that google owns the internet right now.

Google used to be a search engine, now it is a massive advertising company. Shame.

I and friends discussed this a few months ago sites that appear to be changing every day with a different domain one like this
So do not be fooled make sure you keep blockchain.info link in your browser

What???
How funny google even not familiar with the bitcoin and blockchain,it's obviously phising, why they didn't checked it before approved them. Well they only think about how to making money.
You must bookmark everything you need and don't google it.

I wonder how these sites even get enough money to have a sponsor ad on google. i doubt they scam enough people to pay the bills. also does google have a filter for ads with clone sites?  Angry

It happened before. Couple months ago there was a site called "blockchaln.info" attempt to do exactly the same phishing tactic.
I am surprised that no one in google checks these sites before they include them in their ad program or maybe they are uneducated to the point they thought it is original wallet?

You can report this site as harmful and Google will investigate and take this ad down.

Makes no sense a huge company like google dont band or restrict any attempt to use a domain that might change the reputation of a company, in this case bitcoin i doubt if someone make a fake google if it will go live. Anyway its always and more and more need to becarful when joining or acessing our wallets, someday they will make those to exchanges and the result will be several coins losted.

I do not know why Google permit this kind of scam , I have been watching several scam ads promoted by Google , we must be careful before clicking any link , thank you for warning us , and I hope Google stop promoting these ads.

well... they dont permit. you can report these things and they will remove.
but they cant check all these immediately and that way scammers are always posting new attempts.

These fake sites impersonating legit sites have been on top of Google search for more than a year. I think the fact that they are still active is that no one is reporting them as being a scam site to Google.

I think there are enough eagle eyed Bitcoiners who do report like mad. These are fresh sites that pop up every time. Even if you're only up for a few hours you might get lucky and milk someone of their coins.

This current one is indeed new, but there was one that has been on top for more than a year. Looking at the register date of the domain 2016-09-24 there is also another one created on exactly the same date which is block~chianes~.info without the two ~ of course. I just put it there so no one can accidentally click on it.

Logging into your wallet from a browser is already known as being risky. Except these kinds of scams, there are also other huge risks: keyloggers, hackers and viruses. Also other physical threats like thieves. I'm using a very old laptop (2006) with a Live Linux CD which removes any change that has been made on it when you power it off. This means your data, cache, passwords, absolutely everything is being removed and the next time you boot you'll have a new, clean OS. This makes my laptop way more secure, and I trust logging on Blockchain from it. However, as I said, browsers can be dangerous. Therefore, I prefer using my secondary phone as a Blockchain wallet.

Do not Google for it, if you know it. Just type your URL and you will not be caught by this. Kaspersky also auto detect, when you are

using sites with SSL security and offer you browser protection to protect your passwords. You should also use 2FA to protect yourself

further. I do not keep large amounts in these online sites for this very same reason. Use a hardware device like Trezor for bigger

amounts of coins or cold storage for even bigger amounts.  Wink

Thanks for notifying this but if this gets shut down another one pops out. I have also seen several similar types of fishing blockchain.info clone sites before and also some of them have sended fake emails to reset password or login to verify your account etc messages. Better to stay away from all of this clones/fishing sites, don't forget to check the URl on address bar everytime you visit your wallets or exchange platform.
