And I don't think their AI would detect a phishing site instantly useless someone report it. I think there is a report button on every ad. Had you tried to report it?

I reported on that ad when I saw this phishing website on Google. Google has removed the ad after receiving the report. That phishing website is not available on Google, because I have searched a few times. If Google can't detect phishing websites before approving an ad, that's a big failure. Google should pay attention to this so that no phishing ads are approved, if phishing ads are not approved, many crypto users will be safe. Every day a lot of phishing websites come to the top of Google search, and many people are the victims of those phishing websites.

However, still some very inexperienced people wouldn't detect that is a scam if taken down the ads, at least a few innocent people will be benefited.
That's prolly the only reason why threads on phishing/other sort of scams on Google/playstore still somewhat remains relevant, cause other than that, all this modus operandi used by scammers is already very well known and there are so many of them that can be found by just searching Google playstore (and we definitely can't create threads on them all). I don't know how many times the warning has to be reiterated, but for the sake of newcomers, don't download anything about your crypto (wallet, exchange, etc) on Google, always get them via the original/official website.

Same like the forum, Google does not moderate scam Grin. And I don't think their AI would detect a phishing site instantly useless someone report it. I think there is a report button on every ad.
That's the truth about Google, they do nothing to moderation of scam or phishing apps on Google Playstore. It's wrong! The Google Android Playstore have conferred on itself some truth as an official site to access Android apps and sadly, they don't live up to there reputation. Its all business for them and this is harmful to users.

On the parts of ads, there is over a ton or million of them and just making a negative report on one just make it seem as though, your promoting the traffic on the ads because, it's replaced almost immediately by another.  It doesn't help! Comments do a little, it becomes a thing of concern to me, especially the negative once.

Had you tried to report it? I can't see the ads from my device even I searched for blockchain. Not sure either hacker changed the domain name or the ad has taken down. Just report them instantly if you found something like that. However, still some very inexperienced people wouldn't detect that is a scam if taken down the ads, at least a few innocent people will be benefited.

The increasing number of phishing sites that continue to scatter on Google search and it is difficult to imagine if someone does it without first verifying it, obviously this is very dangerous for crypto users, especially beginners who are currently still aggressively against crypto which is being hunted by the makers of this phishing site , but this is  all there are many wallet sites that have been cloned by them so it is difficult to tell the difference if we don't verify.

I also saw what thread $crypto$ made about phishing sites at first glance there was absolutely no difference but only different domains they changed in this case.

Take a look.

There are lies, damned lies and statistics. MTwain
The site seems to be displaying a different content now (I get a minimal content screen, versing something about a "Global Conference Coming Soon.").

Searching around, a certain site (https[colon]//doodstream[dot]com[dot]ipaddress[dot]com/) states that the OP provided URL is on the same IP as some other dodgy similar names that play around twisting "blockchain" into some sort of morphed derivate. Anecdotally, one of those sites is on sale for 5500K €, which is fortunately high, since the domain is very close to the original domain.

Google’s lack of control, or lack of being capable of being creative in displaying an indicator that can help detect novel advertisers (which are more prone to be scammers than consolidated ones) is a great deception, and just pries on the exploit all for business principle.

This isn't new in Google, especially on their AdSense.  I heard a lot of people will be always in their trap because didn't read carefully on the domain name of the site which is obviously you will notice if you will read it carefully.  The fact is, Google didn't care if they advertise scam ads as long as they accept payment from those scammers that willing to spend small bucks just to victim naive people.

Anyway, I tried now to search quickly in my browser but I didn't see anything like AdSense on the page.

I saw the red up arrow button on the right side of your browser, probably you didn't update your browser into a new version which is presumably safe for browsing.  Just click it and update.

Now crypto users have to be extremely careful while searching for anything crypto wallet related in Google.
Not saying that people shouldn't watch out, but this type of scam has existed since as far as I remember(2016).

So if you search for something related to wallet in Google, you should verify the result and then enter.
Or better, use a reputable ad blocker such as uBlock Origin(not to be missed up with uBlock.org): https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock

I found in the first results of Google today a phishing blockchain website, if a crypto user gives his/her login information on this website then he/she may be a victim of hacking.

Now crypto users have to be extremely careful while searching for anything crypto wallet related in Google. Since a lot of new people are joining the crypto market every day, those users here are at big risk. Because scammers have now increased their activities as the market is going upwards. So if you search for something related to wallet in Google, you should verify the result and then enter.
