Even many fake coins launching at the time of Hard Fork and this makes many fake people are propagating the coin for their ETH holding. It is very good to stay away from those coins because they might steal your ETH, so be careful while working those campaigns.

Don't forget that some greedy users are willing to put their private keys into a web form on apparently doubtful website. Lack of basic security principles serves for these scammy hard forks.
And they are all getting phished by scammer. So many people have created a lot awareness about that but i guess those are participating in the promotion of that scam shitty coin must get some punishment from DT.

Every fork IMHO you should take only after moving your money from the main wallet. And only that use private keys to get forks.

Nowa and classic vision are real scam, the original and supported by a large exchanger like binance is hardfork ethereum constantinopel, unfortunately in this forum bounty nowa and classic vision are still alive.

Yes they are still alive here my friend, but the staff has grant them with redtrust, and clear reference on it, i am scammed by they too, but luckily only in bounty, my only loss was the time when I followed what they said in the bounty and what they write in their white paper.

There will be only one hardfork from which no one is going to get any free coin. The rest two are scam. They are attempting to steal money. Don't give your private keys to anyone. Otherwise, you will be scammed.
Only one Hardfork gets all exchange support. We should trust the ETH development team more because they are really the people who will work in the future. I will not give the key to anyone who asks for Private Key because if they do so it is definitely a scam and let us stay away as quickly as possible.

Feel sorry for them but they shouldn't export their private keys for that worthless coin.

Everyone should learn from those past incidents that there are scams like that who uses the hype of forks just to get the private keys of the people. Don't be too hooked up with that ratio, that coin isn't even worth to spend your time and always DYOR.
They should be more careful with their private keys but they wont, I know the scammers are to be blamed for what it is happening but people need to be more careful, it seems that just the thought of getting more coins is enough for people to input their private keys anywhere over the internet and people like that will lose their coins despite our warnings since they do not seem to understand that once you lose your coins you cannot get them back.
It's not yet late though there are victims out there. These scammers won't stop and they are doing it with the other way and looks professional so people who don't do research will never notice that.

Don't ever send your private keys to anyone, to any website, just keep it to yourselves.

This is why I don't give a f* with these two forks. The most important fork is the Constantinople and its the real fork for Ethereum. Just don't export your private keys to any of their platforms so your funds are going to be safe. Let the MEW distribute the tokens on your own or give update regarding the fork. Just don't ever input your private keys on the web just to get those forks, please be careful.

Absolutely. We have to be careful as these scammers and hackers are using their technical expertise and talent to lure people to get into something that they can be regretting big time later. As always, creativity is always in the practice here but instead of using their creativity that be benefiting other people in the market they are using it to promote more gloom and dismay. We really have to careful and just listen to real people and leaders in this industry and not with those that just pop recently like mushrooms as they can be so poisonous and lethal.

Already many have joined in Ethereum classic vision and this is worrying news. If we are not careful, we will be trapped. Ethereum Constantinople that will be present, a fork to be able to improve the condition of eth values.

Things like this that we must be aware that fraudsters will move when they have a good chance to commit fraud. We must not rush to invest or do project promotion. It's better to do research first. Now there are projects that commit fraud and this is very disappointing.

When projects like these appear and none have a public figure then it is likely to be a scam. At least bitcoin cash and satoshi vision had someone actively promoting them. These two hardforked coins are done by a hidden team and it isn't a privacy token

So wait. These forks are only going to be distributed as ETH tokens (ERC20?)? I thought forks had their own blockchains and this would just be like when ETH split from ETC, 2 separate blockchains.

Not that I care really, I've not taken any forkcoins since Bitcoin Cash which I sold rightaway, but if these forks are just giving people tokens on ETH, then what's the whole point then?

Upcoming forks in Ethereum and Ethereum Classic have given opportunity to scammers. Two alleged “hard fork” versions are trying to steal money from users of both. Ethereum Nowa claims to be forking away from ETH. Ethereum Classic Vision claims to fork away from ETC. These forks are allegedly in response to regularly scheduled network upgrades in both blockchains.

Accordingly, the team at Guarda, which offers a web-based solution similar to Coinomi, wrote to CCN to report that both of these forks are scams. The official web wallets both Ethereum Nowa and Ethereum Classic Vision have provided are scams. They attempt to capture private keys. Unsuspecting users may have already lost money using this method.

Already for a week, there are information revealing that Ethereum forks are a scam:

The only real hardfork will be Constantinople and there will be no blockchain split during it.

Some people have already told all of the people about the possibilities of both of these forks being scam forks in the past. But none of them don't care about that. Even a lot of bounty hunters are still blindly advertising that scam platforms. That's really sad.

But very unfortunate, too many people's who have already entered into these fake forks (ETN & ETCV). Because they are tempted by coins which are distributed in a ratio of 3:1 without being aware of the risk of losing their assets in MEW.
