Cybersecurity researchers from at least two firms today unveiled details of a new strain of malware that targets Windows and macOS systems with a Linux-based cryptocurrency mining malware.

So let this be a warning for those who download fake applications. You just don't know that you have downloaded something that has bundled with malwares that will take advantage of your systems. And we all know that bitcoin is making a run, so this kind of attacks might also increased so everyone should be careful.
