Cyptos are becoming a real threat to the banking systems control, and they don't like it. Expect more of this type of action.
those ddos aren't from the outside. Its from the inside. Some people can't trade fair so after something shows stability at a high price they try to bring it down by any means to get on the train.

how are you so sure?
how are you so conspiracy oriented (because you are if you disagree)

Attacking exchanges of now regulated virtual currencies would be extremely illegal for a bank (for anyone). It is obviously not worth their trouble. Nor does it benefit them. If you are gonna do something criminal, might as well be worth it.

Anyways, bring the conspiracy theories, I'm always down for a good story.

central banks a fair fight ? ddos against p2p ?  nonsense, when banksters attack they will simply delegalize it and/or sue the crap aout of exchanges.

this attack is made by thieves to create panic and buy your LTC low.

define the difference between a 'bankster' and a 'thief'  Wink

thief knows he is a thief. bankster think he is fine bussinessman , while steals 1000's times more than thieves.

There's been a lot of effort getting the price of LTC down on BTC-e this week. Not sure if there is any connection but my paranoid mind says there is.

I don't know if that would work on Vircurex and BTC-e though. With Gox when the site is lagging people can still get orders in because of the API but not so many people use the API on BTC-E and hardly any on Vircurex, so the sites are just down. Theres probably no trading going on at the moment. So the DDOS people are just being real dicks.

thats it! a few can and thats the idea.

vircurex and btc-e is under very heavy DDOS.

this has been a scheme last weeks for BTC and alts. when they destroy the price while no one can sell crating panic and a flashcrash that is back to original price when ddos ends just in hour or so.
