I call bs on that "hack". They've been insolvent for too long and now they're blaming a hacker.
If you go through their thread, since then day they launched you can see at least once the word "scam" on their topic per page.

Anyway, case closed, epay is gone long time ago

It's weird to see him online on forums but no reply at all.. there's a bunch of threads calling his service scam, but he just won't even care to reply.
Guess we all know what's the reason behind it

As you can see the issue with the page is still unresolved.

If I won't get paid in few days I will try to contact the guy and informed him about this thread, and possibly the other threads on other forums as well, if the guy will keep ignoring people.

You won't get any information from him. There's no support nor answers to tickets. Payouts are delayed already over two weeks. He was online last time on June 2 - https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/epayinfo-397921 So I'm sure that he knows about existing threads. I already PM'ed him week ago and there isn't any response to this day.

I can confirm they are still not paying. BitSurf and Adbtc withdrawals were sent but I never received anything.

I hope those 2 will enable FaucetHub soon.

Well, buy that and get all from that.
If you buy the website it will not give you all the funds of the users of course. They will first empty all of our wallets and pull of an exit scam and also receive bitcoins for the domain name. I lost faith in this Epay owner and he is ignoring me on every contact platform there is. I still have money on epay.info and I want it.

It says that you can make me an offer.
Its not the same with what they did.

Their site was actually on sale and it had a price of $4.900 iirc. Then they removed it from the listings. It was too late though, since a lot of people saw it listed

This is possibly what triggered the site to go rogue. I'm sure there's many more not being paid/robbed.

I see Mexi's post about the domain auction, perhaps they are closing down and selling off the domain to pay us back? ... Huh Only time can tell us.

Have a great holiday weekend! Stay safe!

I doubt that it is being sold to pay us. But the person who buys it can pay, although it's right not to.

I'm not sure if anyone would want to pay 5-10 BTC just to take over the site.
I'm speculating though, but I'm sure it's at least 5BTC which they've held.

I also feel that epay.info goes into scam. For more than a month I have not gotten my satoshi, which has increased to 0.015 BTC. But I'm not able to get out of them. Does anyone have any idea? There was no one to answer my ticket for 14 days.

They could have fixed the problem of higher transaction fees with more ad revenue.  By putting a popup on the address login button and a mellow link on the withdraw button, advertising revenue would be 10x higher then just the banners.

I knew there was a problem when I had withdrawals pending for over a month.  They finally cancelled those withdrawals and put them back in my balance.  I requested smaller withdraws and on 5/12 a payment was sent out.  I thought the problems were fixed, so I deposited another 10k.  On 5/17 they sent me three payments on the same day.  All three were sent out in separate transactions.  This is when I knew there was a real problem because it doesn't make any sense why they would send 42k, 43k, and 52k in separate transactions when the fees would be less if they combined them before sending.

If they never send another payment I lost at least 600k satoshi, so I am not happy with epay at all.

that much to various (good) faucet's balances.

Hello Mexicantarget.....

Is there the possibility to modify the existing Epay script with payout to faucethub or I must now mandatory again a new script .....

Is there faucethub in the future more altcoins like xpm, dash, ppc and others?

Thanks for reply
www.coinrotation.com

Yes, there's going to be more altcoins in the future.

Now, there's too many code differences in their script to make an easy replacement, and I'd recommend you migrate to fbox's script, which is the safest script out there.

Not much I can do about the script. Sad

I was hoping It wouldn't come to this. As some of you may know, I started my faucet at ePay when ePay first started.
In the time I was there I had noticed after I have deposited some coins into the faucet, a small amount of them became missing very quickly. I check my stats and couldn't see any claims come in that time. Then after a deeper look, I did see my faucet already paid that amount of coins that went missing. I thought how? If I cant see any claims?

Anyway after that I had some computer issues, got them fix and when I logged to ePay account, all my stats where 0. I sent them a ticket. They responded next day. When I logged in now I can see .0049 BTC in my account. I send another ticket asking for a withdraw. They did respond but they didn't know how to respond well. After a few messages They finally sent me to the main owner. Now I'm waiting over a week to hear from them about a transaction number.

This is possibly what triggered the site to go rogue. I'm sure there's many more not being paid/robbed.

You should ask Mexicantarget or search for some multi-service script to migrate your faucet.

Interesting, what is the reason for this? Or it was planned, when they made a 0% fees.
They probably wanted to attract the majority of faucet users/owners to start using them, then generate income from ads and cover expenses.
Can't say this was planned, but there's a high chance it was

Yes, I've been using ePay for last 5 months and they do seem sketchy. Tho I cannot say that I have solid proof of it but recently when one of my user's payouts disappeared after requesting withdrawal, I contacted them here on BCT and they processed the pending withdrawal immediately.  Shocked

And definitely their putting the domain on auction shows that they want to pull out an exit scam with maximum profit.  Sad

Anyways, we hope FH will live as long as cryptocurrencies exist.  Smiley
Yeah, they've been doing selective payouts for quite a bit. Whenever someone would complain they would ask for an address/email so they sort it out so dust settles down.

By adding their domain on auction sites shows clearly that they cannot be trusted in any way.
Funny thing. I've been using epay for a couple years now, and stopped using them several months ago. Just logged in for the first time since then, and my account balance was wiped. I never made a withdrawal from the site, and am sure I had around 0.01BTC in there before I stopped using them. No withdrawal history, and my BTC account just shows 0. Peculiar.

Thanks for the heads up; ePay used to be pretty awesome, as they had a good grasp on how to operate rotators, but after a quick stroll through their rotator now, looks like the site went to shit. No wonder they've put up the domain for auction. Shady business, if you ask me.
Funny thing is, if you check their faucets page, their faucet number keeps swinging constantly.
Yesterday it was 40x then it went to 45x, then dropped to 43x, then went to 47x.

I've noticed that long time ago. Not sure if they were/are faking stats or it's simply a bug in their code

they are the most overspeculated masquerading ponzi system..

i realized that , when they checked my daily payout on faucethub.io before.
i paid within 5 hours 44M satoshis to the players.
after few minutes they PMed me here, to apply epay system to my faucet (virtualpub)

i not answered, and i heard they are asking bigger faucet owners for the same..

so my theory is: epay.info.ponzi worked this way:

- they built trusty relationship with faucet owners
- they gathered some BTC in their balances
- started to complain about fees and BTC price
- ran away with FO deposits..

good business..

Wow, that's serious! When ePay announced about zero fees policy, I didn't understand how they planned to survive. Looks that they didn't mannaged to survive only with income from ads. And I often noticed lack of professionalism in their business.
Today I will have to remove all ePay faucets from my website and warn users to avoid ePay. In recent days I received lot of messages from users about ePay problems and I didn't knew what to answer.
It's sad that we lost another microwallets service. It was good competitor for Faucethub and it's always good to have alternatives. Especially, ePay was goid for having more altcoins support.

My theory is the following:

They wanted to attract users with 0 fees, believing they'd get enough money from ads to pay for those fees.
They got banned from coinad, so their income dropped dramatically.

Then, they (maybe?) took faucet owner's deposits and tried to trade and got chopped.
Not saying their intentions were malicious. Maybe they just wanted to get some extra coins and pay everyone fast

This is just a random theory, not a concrete statement or whatever

Hello,

from what it seems, epay.info has gone rogue. If you're a faucet owner DO NOT DEPOSIT ANY COINS THERE.
You've noticed that when bitcoin's price started climbing they started doing selective payouts.
I didn't want to ask any questions or say anything before there was solid proof that something is going on.

BCT mods/Cyrus, please don't move this thread to another section, since most of micro-earnings users don't visit the other sections. I'll move it when the time comes.
Apologies and thanks.

Proof (Links provided by user R3x):
https://in.auctions.godaddy.com/trpItemListing.aspx?miid=113570278&ci=44273&prog_id=GoDaddy
https://www.namecheap.com/domains/registration/results.aspx?domain=epay.info

Domain has been put on sale. Auction expiration date is 2017/07/18 10:27 AM (PDT)

This auction ends in 52 days, which means they probably listed it 8 days ago.

PS: I'm not posting this to harm ePay. Never had issues with them, but to protect its users and faucet owners from any potential inconveniences in the future.
