This have become the modus operandi for many scams that have been reported here. Using some older projects whitepaper with altered names to make it their own.
I hope the scammers are having the guts to owe up to their mistake and not claim like others that the previous project was sold to them or that their whitepaper writer made an error. Error my rear, copy pasting is not a error it is an illegal thing to do, but this is crypto where no legal system is there to punish such criminals.

It is true that this project feels its own, even though it is clear that they have plagiarized the whitepaper, not only the whitepaper on the website there is also a lot of content stolen from other projects they only take advantage of the modus operandi in this case and add in several exchanges to build trust in investors, On the other hand, sometimes they do not always check the entirety of it in detail and just follow what people say with the promotions that are on offer.
So clearly, I always urge especially newbies not to invest anything in projects that have been caught in the thread of this accusation, they must be very aware of how important your money is in this case, as much as possible must be guarded and invest in your reality.
