gmx had passwords stolen many times - of millions of users

and they spy on you aswell

gmx is serious shit provider

Very correct! I stopped using gmx a while back, especially with my important emails.
Every time I would use gmx, I would get attack warning by my AV. Just switch to Gmail and you'll be safe.

Actually carders are the most busy people with their magstripe in hand when holidays come, expect a lot scam letters from your inbox, and don`t ever download anything from attachment.

You should send a support ticket to gmx.net to determine how the hacker gained access to your account.

You should also make sure that you are not using the same password on multiple accounts, and double-check that your computer is not infected with malware. Good luck with figuring out how your email account was compromised, so that you can prevent the same event from repeating itself in the future.

This is important:

is this very hours, maybe a big hack has started.. the people are away from pc, the support of all the bitcoin services is away from pc.
especially my email provider has no hotline for around 16 hours...
i think this was especially targeted..
so lookn out and warn your friends..

what happended?
email account was hacked in some way, password was reset
i can no longer access my email account, but can read in my client a copy of what the hacker does.. and i see that the emails are marked as "read"

the hacker clicked "forgot password" only on the following services in following order ( so he has to be out of the btc scene )
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]

my funds are safe, 2FA is on..
but stay away from email provider gmx.net !!!

i place a bounty of 0.2 BTC on insider information regarding the hack.
