I don't get it did you get hacked while yobit was open in browser and your wallets as well? wallets from yobit or from desktop version?
If your wallets from desktop version got hacked then how can yobit be responsible? or when you had yobit open and inside your wallets
Were open? I don't think you can actually open a wallet in yobit only deposit and withdraw functions, then while you had yobit open
Some one withdrew your coins but what does it have to do anything with desktop wallets? I'm so freaking confused.  Huh Huh Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

He didn't said its yobits fault. i think when the radical wallet is open the rat works sending btc to a wallet. don't quote me but this how i understood it.
Whoever created the wallet sure had intentions of doing it. The Dev has liabilities too.

The only thing that i can say its not fault with yobit you are victim of virus which is called keylogger or auto bot sender ..that can decrease automaticaly  your yobit will decrease balance once your ip is monitored from them and they know what you do.. better to use hirens with complete tool to solve the malware and virus

thankyou sir for your advice....

i hope you recover as well for me it has been hard i can't just buy BTC and start over i do not have the funds to do so i built up my alts over the years and it was a lot of hard work so it is very hard for me to do so. i don't understand how anyone could do that to someone, i have always helped people when i can and i have helped many over the years. now that i need help all of those i helped in the past totally don't know who i am now lol its sad but very true. I have met some of the worst people in crypto and some of the best. The community that follows @Mineum is the best community i have ever seen in crypto. this project will make shareholders a lot of money that's about all i have left at this point and i hope it will help me get back on my feet so i can trade like i use to. Trading is my passion i love crypto, i guess it can be a love hate at times lol but good luck bro i hope you recover i hate to see this happen but it seems it does all the time.

I will recover sir ...thanks for support

Aw. Sad to hear that Bro Cry But I hope you will recover it. Must learn a lesson huh? Make sure that your wallet is safe and don't forget to put a 2FA even in the withdrawal so that you can avoid this incidence again. Mermaid wallet, I'd never heard of that wallet but I think you should transfer to another wallet which is more secure. I suggest you use Blockchain because it has many layers of authentication and hacking is really a problem in this wallet.

Thanks For supporting BRO ...

You should be careful  in the next time , but I don't find any reason to keep a Bitcoin amount in an exchange , I don't let that happen , maybe I keep altcoins , but not Bitcoin , I prefer paying the transaction fee in every time I want to trade to keep it in the exchange wallet.
LOL that smart hacker sold est 500,000 scan also few ether not BTC bro

That sucks, sorry to hear this and also sorry that we will always have people like this involved in this world, especially in the altcoin arena.

I have seen a few people claiming similar things, as long as everyone is vigilant we can hopefully starve these parasites.

i agree that we should find a way to starve these damn thieves . im not exactly sure how it could be done but its about time to actually start some kind of control to put these guys out of business.
and yes to run all the needed precautions is a real pain in the butt but sandboxing every single one is also a punch in the head at times!
and yes this will always be part of this world!

It is very unhappy to hear things like this ... but it is all part of the crypto world.
and it is up to each and every single individual to assure his system is clean and well protected.
i have heard many times the same thing just changing the circumstances and in the very end its always the same issue.
if in fact we would take the precautions and the security measures actually needed then i doubt many of us would remain!
dont get me wrong as im not trying to put salt on a wound.
simply saying that im so sorry to hear this and you might want to take it in stride and a very cheap way of changing some possible bad habits and turn them into a great protection system that we all should be doing!

Ahhh this explain... downloaded it from bitcoin talk....you can see my post there asking about wallet wont open...but running in system ....well done radical dev ...LOL

So this is the culprit ,the dev made his thread moderated so he can delete those post that warn people about the malware on their wallet,we should give this dev a negative trust it could harm the community if hes thread is not deleted or lock..

Hello Cryptominer

Today i left my browser with my Yobit account open... i was too tired and fell a sleep....
When i woke up ...my yobit account had sent 0.09 btc to the hacker account....the hacker cancelled my scan order and sell it to 10 satoshi....he sell my ether too at update price....too bad ididnt active confirmation to email for withdrawal...

Suspicios at mermaid, putin and radical wallet that i opened when this happen....i had est 90000 putin but it didnt lost.
Another wallet open was scan, ponzi and swap token...coin inside these wallet was safe....radical wallet has most suspicious because it wont open but running in taskmanager....anyone running mermaid wallet ? Can you confirm this wallet is safe...

Beware to mermaid and radical wallet....

Now im scanning my system

I will report result later

Thanks

yes many of the wallets will show up as a virus anyway even if they do not have them but you have to be careful and make sure you download the correct one from a trusted source or it could be planted by someone other then dev. also many people have been hacked on yobit me being one and i think that it is admin doing this

I'm not using any of those wallet and before I download and run any wallet I made sure I scanned it on virustotal but this unfortunate if it is true that a wallet has done,it all means that they can inject virus or back door through those wallets,I will wait for your update to see if it is really those wallets..

Yobit have 2 fa for the login but don't require it to confirm any withdrawal, which is a mistake i feel. They should add 2fa to any withdrawal request.

beside 2fa, yobit have email confirmation if the user trying to login in different location or different IP, because i have this experience since my modem IP has always change in every few days.

I think yobit must improve the accounts security level , it is the only exchange from which you can withdraw without a withdrawal confirmation e-mail , I have tried all other exchanges like Cryptopia and Bittrex and many others , all these exchanges send a confirmation e-mail to confirm that who is withdrawing is the account owner , but yobit have not added this feature.
On the side note : I think your thread must be in service discussion section not in this section.

You should get a warning if you have a very good anti virus like karspersky or malware anti malware they are very good in tracing key logger, this is very unfortunate and also would like to know if the key logger comes from those wallet you are running..
