Dude, this happened with Axie Infinity too, their main token at that time was known as Smooth Love Potion but they changed the name to Small Love Potion and they also have their own wallet and soon to be exchange Ronin. They still haven't shown any signs that they're a scam.

Sometimes shitcoin decide to make a big jump. After starting in some well known blockchain they will launch their own project.
I don't know if this is can call a "SCAM" but for sure is a big warning against such type of project and people behind it.

I can be it should be scam accusation or not. As you have not provided too much information or you have no information either they have scammed any funds or not. But base on your provided information we may doubt that they can scam in future. As they have ignored there users, not provided any information and swapped within 2 weeks though it is not automate as I think.
