Genuine question - have there been other signs that point towards an exit scam? I haven't kept up with Poloniex news, so bear with me - the only other update I read about were the additional verifications for withdrawals that people weren't happy about. I'm hesitant, mainly since AFAIK Poloniex has been doing just fine as a major exchange and can't think of a reason why they'd pull a scam instead of maintaining a business - which is why I'm also curious.

Otherwise it could just be not-so-great customer support and social media presence. Again, I haven't been interested in Poloniex in a while so I wouldn't know how great those two fronts are.

They are actively blocking clients on their social media profiles.

If they don't just ignore them but actively prevent them from contacting Poloniex, I think there's a quite fair possibility that all the problems Poloniex is having are connected between them.
