We have the same thread posted on Beginners and Help regarding this warning. Although it's good that everyone must be informed about this.

By the way here's the thread: To all Firefox users, UPDATE your browser now before it's too late.

Firefox is very bad, UC browser is also sometimes not supportive of using an exchange.  I am more comfortable using Google.  Google's popularity and security is very good.  we should avoid browsers that have a poor security system.
I guess you don't read this message posted ahead of you because every systems at a point have it own vulnerability and just because this situation happened to Firefox doesn't mean it totally a bad browser but if you prefer to you chrome browser just make sure you're using the incognito window by pressing Ctrl+ Shift + N.

According to the report, the vulnerability was reported by Coinbase Security. More likely, the attacks are related to cryptocurrency in some way. Damn hackers really focus on doing some sh*t in the crypto world.

Updating to the given newest patch/update/version of Firefox is the most obvious way to deal with this, there are internet guys who are not aware of doing a manual update. So hope that Firefox users will read this.

I'm using Firefox as a separate browser to my other works so I'm up to date with the version. They are still one of the fastest browsers for me alongside Google Chrome so will not refrain using it.

Better is to use other browsers available, because it is truly bad to experience some attack and feeling further. Taking precautions before anything happens could be best when we get things notified. Until the issue gets fixed and get notified staying away from the Firefox is my decision, and this is how our forum helps with each other.

I wonder if people who are on the Beta update channel would be affected?
Currently running 68.0b11, I assume the bug is already fixed on that version perhaps.

We already have this thread on this board, but just moved by the OP here, https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/to-all-firefox-users-update-your-browser-now-before-its-too-late-5156056.

Anyways, thanks for the fair warning, but I totally moved out of FF months ago and been using Brave browser already, you might want to give it a try though.

Thank you for your information,...
But, I haven't used it for a long time. Maybe sometimes still use it for certain purposes.
And 95% I am using Chrome for now.

I am not a big fan and user of the Mozilla Firefox though I used to be years ago. I am more into Chrome and now also into Brave which is just using the Chrome open-source platform. This is quite alarming and good thing that the problem is now fully traced and hopefully already fixed as I am sure that many people into cryptocurrency are also using Firefox. This is just one of the many risks that those in the cryptocurrency industry are facing every day.
For me, Firefox is safer to use than Chrome which is monitored by Google all of your activities online are being tracked according to this article "Everything you need to know about Google's My Activity page

So it is not safe to use as your browser and don't use it to install your wallet through plugins. To the fact that it's not advisable to use a wallet as a plugin in any browser because it's not safe. Compared to use a desktop wallet or any official wallet of every crypto.

There are many users who uses Brave browser just because they can earn BAT token from advertisement since advertisement has tracker it means they are still monitoring your browsing activity. So for me, they are still not safe to use.

I think it is very dangerous especially to use the web wallet. This kind of security vulnerability can always come up.
That's the most especially reason behind this notification cause a lot of people like myself also used firefox for their metamask wallet but the situation will be fix asap since a lot of tech people are already intervene into the situation.
