Dear users,

We apologize for the use of artificial photos to some of our Head Members of our Team.

As in many countries it is a "crime" to be a member of a cryptocurrency, we had this crazy idea to use artificial images for the members that do not want to exposure their faces, for some reasons.

We are going to remove all the artificial pictures from our web site and we will use real pictures of members that do not have problem to exposure their faces.

We are not scammers or something.
We just working hard for make Xenios part of our Life.

CEO of Xenios Project

Wow this is a very bad excuse, fake team means a fake project to me, how are investors going to trust you if you don't trust your project and your people, investors should be careful of this project, they have shown deception and this is not the last time that they are going to do this.

WoW!!! Thanks for the warning!!!! So You think that the project is a scam because some of our Team members use artificial photos as they do not want to expand their faces.
Just think about that "maybe" some of them has a serious reason to do that....for example....may work for a bank or they are in government. Anyway this is your opinion but not the truth.
Thanks
If they have issues with revealing their identity, then they should have mention that, or even better, not use any pictures at all. That is perfectly legit decision by the way, not to reveal real identity at all. Good example is Satoshi, but what he never did is using some fake photo to try fool people.
But, you wanted to appear more legit and attract people,  so you used stock/fake photos for your teams members, and that is not honest behavior.

They often times use black and white photos or color overlay like in this case to make finding original image sources harder.
Yeah, they do use some tricks like that, or distort the image a bit, hoping that reverse image search won't discover true origin of those photos. Situation is getting even more complicated now, with advanced tools for creating artificial photos that are harder to detect.

This is a good way to warn people. Because the more people we warn, the faster a scam-free crypto community can be created. So your work is good. But I could not see anything by entering the link given by you.

Sorry, link fixed

If they have good explanations, they can always post their side. But seems that even their ANN thread is silent from the team's end. So don't expect also that they will clarify themselves regarding this matter.
We know what their explanation would be , we heard it so many times, something along " those photos were just a placeholder" or " we hired some 3rd party to make website and they put those photos without us noticing". But as you said, in this case they don't even care about being busted for using fake team members, they didn;t bother to either reply here, or answer some questions in their thread.  That just tells you everything that you have to know about Xenios and their team.

Thanks for that initiatives. We need to take down all these crap projects before they can victimize users here. If they have good explanations, they can always post their side. Surprisingly that they have huge volume. Exchanges were it listed are: Folgory, Altility and Vindax. Shame on these exchanges, werent carefully reviewing the tokens or project they are listing.
I don't know about Altility, but the other two (Folgory and Vindax) are dodgy af. As a matter of fact, i reported Folgory few months ago, and regarding Vindax, that is not the first time they listed some shitty project, or hosted IEO for them. Business as usual I would say.

I personally don't believe that Xenios actually has that trading volume. They have no activity here, or in social media at all, and then suddenly they have 100,000 daily volume. As with many bad projects/exchanges, they are likely just faking that volume, hoping that they will dump their useless coins on someone.

Nice catch Rikafip. This coin has been listed on CoinMarketCap

Problem here, let say the proejct is legit and had potential, however why the team resorting to faking some of their members means they are hiding something or worse planning an exit scam without any trace in the future.

What happened: Xenios coin using fake team member photos for at least 3 team members, with the few more looking suspicious as well.

These are Xenios team members for which they used fake team photos

As you can see from photos below, these are just stock photos that can be found elsewhere. These are actually their Platform Designer known as "Alexander" and Banking Specialist "Ann".

And for picture of Developer "David" they used picture of some Russian guy.
