i'm from philippines too, standard monthly wage here is around 250usd.  i think the borrower isn't a 13 or 14 year old kid, he may just be using this as an excuse.  also, i think the increase in bitcoin price from 15usd to 120usd made the borrower reluctant to pay the loan.  mr dpony, if you're sincere enough, why don't you first send 0.1-0.2btc to the lender and see how things work out?

You incurred a debt, and you can't just snap your finger and ask everyone to forget that the debt exists.

Sure he can - he is only 13.

DON'T LEND TO MINORS.  Undecided

If you believe that.  I'm a supermodel IRL. I just bitcoin on my days off! :-p

It appears that your excuse for not paying back the money is that you don't have it right now and that you never made any money with the money you borrowed.  But the terms were clear and you now are agreeing that you owe the OP 0.9 BTC.

In the other thread, the OP gave you an extension and you said that you would give him "everything in your wallet" that you had at that time.  So you now owe him 0.9-(whatever you gave him).  If you can't afford it, you need to at least show a good faith effort to work it out with him.  The OP seems to be a reasonable person giving you extra time for free when you requested it.  Now is the time to man up, face the music, and work something out with the OP.  The agreement was that he gave you 0.7 and you would give him back 0.9.

Perhaps you can work out a payment plan?  You say that you made 0.05 during the month that your loan was extended.  Perhaps a reasonable plan may be to pay 0.05 BTC back to the OP for 12 months (in effect giving him 0.1 BTC additional in "financing charges/interest"?  This seems reasonable to me and if you work out a plan and stick to it, you won't be labeled a scammer.  Everyone falls on hard luck from time to time--that's why no one gets force into bankruptcy immediately on losing a job--but you need to show a good faith effort in trying to repay your creditors.  You incurred a debt, and you can't just snap your finger and ask everyone to forget that the debt exists.

I can pay back mre than the original
payback, but I cannot pay back
10x more because of the BTC price
rise. I'll pay you $15 in BTC which is
MORE than I was supposed to pay back,
I cannot afford $100, that is a lot of money

You set the loan terms.
Quote
Borrowing 0.7BTC
And paying back 0.9BTC
It doesn't matter what the BTC price did, you need to pay back the agreed upon repayment.

Hi,

I have 12k ripple I am looking to sell

looking for around 1.7BTC

but you would have to go first

Are you interested?

Not after reading about your default on a previous loan. You would have to go first.

Already sold the XRP

thanks anyways

Here's a PM exchange that took place today. Looks like DPony13 has 1.7 BTC now to pay back the loan!

His original post:

Borrowing 0.7BTC
And paying back 0.9BTC

will be investing on the
recently dropped prices
of assets, and selling when it gets high.
and earning from dividends of course.

Can provide some identification
though not much, I'm 13

Already paid back a 2BTC
loan so I guess you can trust me, a bit.

(And sorry for typing like this,
It's just easier to do on mobile)

here is the link:

Maybe I should start adding additional charges as late fees.
