The first companies that use robots effectively in products and service will gain the market. But after robots take over, nobody will have money to buy the products and services, because the robots will get all the pay - for maintenance. Since people won't have money to buy things, businesses will flop, and people will pick up the jobs, again.

What might be great would be if:
1. Robots never became self-aware;
2. Robots did everything; people would be allowed to work if they wanted;
3. Everybody could retire and travel or whatever, because the robots would do everything for free... even rebuild themselves when they wore out.

"The FAR robot can work 24 hours a day and picks only ripe fruit. It uses AI perception algorithms to locate the trees and vision algorithms to detect the fruit among the foliage and classify its size and ripeness. After choosing the right fruit, the robot then works out the best way to approach the fruit and remain stable as its picking arm grasps the fruit," said Inceptive Mind.

This takes it up a notch.  It is also the solution for soft small fruit as well.  Once you are down to a two pound weight scale, then it is down to a manipilator arm and a specific tool. All this can be nicely engineered.

The software aspects looks to now be well in hand.

Thus a continous rotation of fruit ripening can be planned for rather easily.  We may even be able to radishes as well along with all sorts of vegetables if desired.

THe whole problem of raising all fruit and vegetables is in the picking.  It is mental drudgery and it is brief employment.  This way we can collect just the ripe fruit and continue over the life of the crop.
