No fiat money is being created or destroyed due to BTC.  It's just how much is changing hands for BTC.  It is pretty cool though.

Nah. The exchanges aren't reporting fiat transfers in and out of the exchanges.  "Fiatleak" is just reporting trades. Mt. Gox is basically the same money sloshing back and forth between Bitcoins and USD, since you can't get USD out.

It is not 100% accurate. Data from smaller exchanges, as well as that from P2P exchanges such as Localbitcoins are not being considered. Also, there is no option to view the volumes of past trade. The data is shown only for the live trades.
