for me  is over-rated... too many competitors (also 0x protocol)

so  investing  or not?

I think I won't invest.

In my opinion, waves has some unique features that make it stand out from the other decentralized exchanges.

Waves is indeed a great project and will succeed if they can provide what their roadmap states. I also like the support of the community. A lot of people are very enthusiastic about waves just like me. This is actually the first thread where I also saw a lot of people talking bad about the project.

Waves coin is one of the potential coin in 2017 and for sure the price will increase but you need to wait. You can buy more waves if you want because I believe the price become 100 dollars per waves before end of this year and thats possible to happen . But even waves is a potential coin invest only you can afford to lose because we dont know what will happen to the price in future.

I think you're wrong. The waves have ALREADY signed contracts with leading Russian companies, and launched a bunch of crumples at his base and they are not going to stop there. This is a very promising coin.
Yes this is very promising coin which a good profit in the future. I take risks to invest in waves and for me this is a good project. I choice holding for a long term in this coin.

This kind of posts really pisses mo off. If your gonna say something negative about a coin., at least provide lts of valid verifiable evidences. And not just useless unbacked words. Because the thing you are doing can destroy a coin’s image. And can lose a lot together with all its investors. So unless you have solid proofs, better keep your opinions to yourself.

I like waves very much. It's a decentralized exchange, safe and reliable. You may use it as a multi-coins wallet if you like it. Very useful in my opinion.
As ETH can store multiple coins, the obvious difference in waves and eth is, WAVES: decentralized exchange, and ETH: smart contract.
But I prefer ETH.
ETH prices faster than waves

They once said they would be updating waveswallet.io but until now they have not updated it, not to mention the news saying that china forbids cryptocurrency, the price of this coin always decreases from day to day
I think you can also see that mostly all coins price is decreasing, because of news in China. Waves is a great coin, with great features. It just needs time to get to the top, it is still young, but it has all the potential to overcome some coins in top 5 Wink

Have you even bothered researching a tiny bit about the coin you're asking? There are probably 10 threads about Waves with posts the last couple of days, many of them outlining the services offered that may give Waves room for growth.

i think you should invest in Waves! They have some nice updates in the next month and theyre like Ethereum! They are just in an early stage, but the devs and the team is very active. and the dev is very good, he knows what he is doing! The price is very stable at 90k sat and I think we found a new bottom!

waves is complete coin
another coin, waves open service wave token, same with etherum smart contract
and then open decentralized exchange in internal wallet, so if you create coin or token use waves platform, youre coin is ready liste in dex and can trade in there

I have very big doubts about WAVES personally. It looks like its litesize version of ethereum. But its too basic lite. I mean I don't know where they can ever reach with that code. Also community support feels lacking.

Yes  I see  it  basically as  a  replace  of ethereum.... but  have  already ETH   we  don't need another  ''ETH''

The  price's  falling down.

A lot  of  big investors  lost  a lot of  money

It's my observation, I have no problem if there any competitors, we should take it positive. About price falling, If everything was going up and only WAVES is going down that's when you have a problem.

The best thing about Waves is the decentralised exchange, quick and easy to create a token and have liquidity if there's demand. The wallet and mobile app is nice. It could grow nicely as more features are added but for now the DEX is their USP.

I agree with you, there are too many good competitors so people should not only trust and hold waves , they should also look at other good projects like 0x or openanx.

No..waves is not over rated. This coin has a good development and huge community. It is like dash in 2014. Waves will be used by everyone because of its DEX it is a good platform and the founder is also well known in this crypto world.

Waves is good for so many reasons.

First: development of ICO. Very easy. Everybody can make its own token without any knowledge of programming. Wins over Ethereum.
Very good ICO already launched through the platform (MobileGO) and OCL. Easy to make good profits with signals.
Second: real life application. Burger King russia already trading under Wavesplatform (whoppercoin). Ethereum is more for IT technology because of smart contracts. Waves will introduce them in 2018. Waves = real life + IT application, Ethereum = IT application.
Third: Decentralized exchange. After china banned exchanges, this feature seems to have a really bright future.
Fourth: Price. 3 EUR against 200 EUR. Ethereum is already a 2 years old technology and just boomed this year. Waves is still in beta. Wait for the new DEX before saying it's overpriced. Why should I buy one ethereum instead of 70 waves? BTW, also Ethereum is continuing to falling down since its boom. It never reached anymore its ATH.

My bet is BY FAR on Waves.
User friendly, trading platform, decentralized, real life ICO, good price, going to be blessed by russian govt.

Cheers.

I have bought  some  at 5$.....   but  not  so much (8 waves)....  I  keep them  as  ''Hedge''  in case it could  really became somenthing  big, but  I don't  believe... for me  is over-rated... too many competitors (also 0x protocol)

You bought from very high price. 6$ was the top already. It gave too many trading opportunities between 3-5 dollars.
You bought only 40$ worth of Waves so that shouldn't be a problem for anybody.

yeah obsouvsly

ALso  with  NEO  so many people  say ''buy  buy''.. (it  was at  50$)  I always  knew  that  price  was  overpriced .    If  you  buy all the things  red  here  you  can be burnt.

I don't think it's overrated but it's definitely overpriced at this point. I'm expecting to see under 1 dollar again. You know this rally started from 30 cents only. Wait for next dump and you'll get tokens from fair price.

there is just too much people holding this token and most of them are dumping every time it spike a dollar. which is why if you hold this token, your doom to wait for more than 15 years before you see its price goes up to more than $5. but by that time too more than 80% of the total supply might just be owned by whales. waves will be doomed unless..

waves is awesome. it combines smart contracts, token creation and decentralized exchange. Only problem is they have a bad pr and it is under shadow of ethereum which both creators are russian. I think waves is supported more by russian authorities which is a good thing

How many tokens  are better  than bitcoin but  still remain in its  shadow  ??

Ask  yourself this  question  and  THEN  THINK if  it's  worth to invest a lot  of money in a project that could  stay in the shadow  of ETH.

Think, think  before put  money
