This is going to seriously impact wave price in future and we are going to have a price pump when all these updates are implemented. Wave to me is currently undervalued and I think wave can comfortably compete with ethereum, neo and stratis. I will say now still remains the best time to buy wave as it is still very cheap.

Why not? I would never say no coin can be better than ethereum, but it will not happen in a short time for sure maybe in 2-3 years. Waves is among the favorites of many people, with smart contracts it will be very interesting.

for a quick return, you do not have to worry, they return instantly after cancellation. But the question is, why do you need it? The percentage is small. If you own more than 1000 waves, for 12 months, 5-6 coins will come running. At the same time, you can not receive airdrop, which they often spend. Maybe you have other thoughts. With the last bull market, waves couldn't react well, this is the reality, howevery in the future, it carries the potential of hitting $100 and this won't be a surprise for the waves community. They need to acquire more traders and customers for dex, that's all.

Why would it see a Moneroesque rise in price?
I have tried the beta WAVES platform and it is a bit clumsy to me. There really should be a readily customisable pair trade column on the left. The righthand columns which deal with unit price, unit number and conversion price is confusing. There is no clear USD reference point. Call me old skool, but USDT reference point helps when the price of each crypto is so volatile, more than 5% it takes quite a bit of experience to trade efficiently.
Waves is stagnant and demoted to number 33-34 on CMC. It was 20, full of promise.
I hope it goes up, but with so much exciting action elsewhere, it may be better to cut and run.

I really like waves and i picked some when the price is around $1. I think it has a lot of potential especially with a lot of marketing done by sasha. But the success of waves will depends on the dex, if the interface is good and people start to use it, generate a huge volume in the dex then i can see waves surpassing eth.

I also like the new Waves-NG but I think the platform need something more than just speed transactions. Take the bitcoin for example, it's not the fastest not even most innovative but it's trusted.

In-built DEX, almost fast as a centralized exchange
Fixed supplies (100M)
One-click token creation
Gateways (BTC, ETH, USD, EUR, etc)

waves is one of the best platforms right now, I really like it because waves have their own exchanger, wavesdex. this update is very important and I think it can bring the changes in the future and hopefully many people are interested.
It really is and the update has made things even better. There is good news everywhere and since altcoins are even being pumped now with the whole thing going on with the suspension of segwit2x it would really mean much more push for the coin. I am really looking forward to see how much this coin grows and how I see it giving my portfolio a boost. But like any other crypto holders I too believe altcoin's leap may get ceased at any time as everyone is eyeing on bitcoins to touch five digit figures.

I know it from ling time ago that waves has a huge potential to growth i buy my first waves at $0.55 arround seven month ago but i only buy 100 waves. No matter how many i am on bullish now and still hold it untill waves - NG released. And at that time waves price will explodes to $25 / waves or even more..

I feel that Waves development is going great and its sadly not known coin. Basically its not under radar. Everyday I look into their blog and other sources that they claim very great news for future.
The development is really going fantastic and I am very impressed. I really want to see how this ends up with the level of push it is going to give it.I have always been very optimistic with this project and I believe this news would really tell much on its value now and in the long time. It should also be able to give Ethereum a real competition over time and I see it even getting bigger.

I don't know why some people think speed is the only criterium that drives a blockchain asset, Waves team seems to me like they are just copying other features to their platform without any plan on how to scale them, just look at the Dex it is the poorest Dex I have seen in this space so far, just throwing money on anything

Strest tess begin today and bitcoin hardfork also cancelled today. It is the very good news for waves community. Now the time to buy waves and other alt. Whats ypur prediction for this coin price ? It will probably be the next eth, even bigger. In the past few months, waves has been overly undervalued even when there is a constant development to it. If it rises, I am sure that it is purely caused by it's development not by hype because developers never hyped it anyway. It should reach price ranges above 10$ in the near future after it have become one of the fastest blockchain in the world.
