What is protection against making fake custom assets/tokens on Wavesplatform? Is the name of the asset that was already created somehow protected? Does each asset that was created get their own (unique for this asset) address or ID? All it takes to make a new asset is a few clicks. Let´s say in future will be created many different assets. They can have very similar names (some of them maybe intentionally), how will the future user of all these assets know which is which (and who is who:)?

When they sold the tokens in early days on exchanges, they did not realize or predict the project could be very big, everything is not sure, 35 btc is decent because it is free coins, right?
you do not send WBTC to a Bitcoin address! WBTC is a Waves asset, to exchange it to BTC you need a gateway (not ready yet)
at the moment if you want to exchange WBTC to BTC you can deposit WBTC to Tidex and sell it on the buy wall of the WBTC/BTC market.

As far as I understood Tidex echange will be used to transfer WAVES wBTC to real BTC, since no BTC gateway is available on the WAVES platform yet. When gateway is ready, then direct transfer of wBTC to BTC addresses is possible, but this is NOT possible right now. Only option is via Tidex.

Do you have any recommendation on where is best to store waves at the moment other than exchanges? I mentioned a few posts back about 2fa which should be standard on most things these days, do you know if the lite wallet is going to eventually support this ?

Of course Lite client. Just create new account with a strong seed phrase. Create backup copy on a several flash cards/papers. Compare seed phrases in Backup section of Lite client. Send Waves tokens. Close Lite client and clear cache data.
If you doubt, you can use the virtual machine or another computer only with os, browser and lite client.
With regard to the integration of 2FA into Lite client, at the moment, I don't have any official information about it.
Thanks for the response. Im currently using the lite client but was just hopeful of some 2fa since ive become so used to having it nowadays. I will keep an eye out and maybe its something that will be implemented in the future. Cant be too safe =p

Incent just started to trade on Tidex.
So is Tidex now officially the WAVES DEX? Looks like it.... And it is a fully decentralized exchange?
I think Tidex will be "Matcher" for DEX. Node (middleman) to match the orders on decentralized exchange.
How many WBTC did you get?
I have 185 WCT and got 0.00000053 wbtc tokens.

Not sure if the wBTC distribution was based on how many Waves one owns or WCTs one owns. Either way, unless you had a bunch of either, the portion received was very minimal. There was only a total of 35BTC to be divided across the board.
Id say The wbtc is based on the amount of WCT you hold because the poster has more WCT than i hold but less Wbtc. I assume the reason for this is becasue he stuck his WCT onto an exchange and missed out on his share. Either that or hes since removed his waves and thats why he got such a low amount of Wbtc. Bottom line is get your coins out of exchanges though, Its never a good place to have them unless you are wanting shot of them very soon.
