It's good to have dreams.
Vision of President Kennedy, to go to the Moon, inspired all country and helped many areas in American industry to develop and make good profit.
Mars is achievable goal, probably around 2030 but it's still to expensive and complicate, with a lot unresolved issues.
The main issue is how humans will survive there.

I am opposed to settling other planets. It is very hard to live at another gravity, artificially create all necessary for life. We need to take care of this planet and not be engaged in consumption.

Agreed.

Colonizing Mars is not a sensible idea i think.
To colonize Mars we need to complete exploration of the moon. It is cheaper and more can benefit. I think to solve the problem with access to cheap sources of energy makes no sense to plan the development of Mars.

Pfffff... this admin is so boring... please save us Donald.
Can't understand why such high expectations from Donald? Do you really think that the President can own something cardinally to change? After all, there is the Senate. There are industrial corporations.

Yes!people are always depending only on president, the eye was always on him. He is the center of all attentions. We should not be in hurry, change is coming gradually, and little by little we will see the development that trump has did. Yes we are dreaming of a better future but we should not depend on other person, we should do our part too. We should support the government and lets think that there is no instant in this world.

If humanity won't destroy itself by the mean of a global nuclear war (the most probable event), we will have to find another planet anyway.
Approximately five billions years from now the Sun will become a red giant and the Earth will probably become uninhabitable.

The Sun will gradually lose its mass while expanding, thus lowering its gravitational force. This will probably widen the planets' orbits but the heat and radiation coming from the surface of our star will be too much for life to persist.

If the person does not cease to poison nature and uncontrolled waste minerals, the destruction of humanity may come much earlier without any wars. Where are our immediate descendants will take the oil?

It will never be possible to stop the uncontrolled nature poisoning and uncontrolled waste minerals dumping, saving money, ya know... We can just slow down the destruction of Earth.

It's too late to think about this planet now and how to save it completely, we can just think of how to slow down the process. You're opposed to settling on another planet? why? It's like that is a thing in todays' world and it's not going to be a thing for another tens of years maybe even more.

Are you sure? Ever heard of GMO? We can recreate everything we need in a base on another planet, that's the beauty of intelligent species. We are able to make ourselves a new home, no need to be bound to the one we have here. Wouldn't you like to move to another planet that has the flora and fauna similar to the one we have here? I would.

Dreams are so nice. Sometimes they even give people hope. But, grow up and wake up to reality... sometime.

Cool
You are so scared to die?..Well you must be because you keep going on about eternal life..

Now what your not getting is if we try to travel to the stars and beyond
we need the technology to do this I.E can we make a pill to feed us because we cannot take food with us.. Like a cow or a field full of wheat how do we fit all this in a space ship..

The technology will be an advantage to the earth by just trying YES TRYING to explore space..

Can we live longer so we can travel further..All these questions and answers we need to solve before we travel in space..It all benefits the human race..
Faster space ships..New energy systems petrol no good..

All this technology we will invent because we want to travel into space..
And most people love space and it's mysteries ..So the billionaire dudes spend there cash on exploring space..

So badecker if you want to live longer you should get behind space projects..
IT WILL BENEFIT THE HUMAN RACE..SPACE TECH is good for us all..
