skype is a very bad and insecure channel of support or business communications. glad you're suspending it.
Same here, scammers use it so they can scam faster IMO.

I think it should be prominently displayed on your home page or pin it to your social media account to warn others about this,could damage the company's reputation it's not only bitmain but all other big company are being victimized..
Social media is also a good idea. But i think to give a personal email to everyone regarding this. I think that reaching through facebook, twitter may left ouy some guys, so its better to give an email to everyone making it sure that all are aware.

Today a Bitmain fan was scammed by someone using the Skype address bitmain_sale-1 to impose as a representative of Bitmain. Unfortunately he paid a considerable number of bitcoins to confirm his bulk order of Antminer S9 miners. This is the same Skype address we cautioned against in our previous post https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/scam-or-unauthorized-representatives-alert-1507845
Considering this and also to respond to you all in time, we are suspending all Skype accounts that we previously called "official". Please contact us ONLY via support.bitmain.com for ANY reason and do not place your orders with any source except www.bitmain.com that claims to be an official representative of Bitmain
