you think gox is bad know, wait til it hosts BTC/LTC and LTC/USD

LTC/USD --> increased overall traffic

BTC/LTC --> increased "panic" exchanging as walls are approached, causing larger spike traffic during already high volume trading times.

in other words, gox is putting itself in its own grave

Yes, the thought that Gox could bring in LTC trading anytime soon is absurd. Let's get the BTC trading working first people.

agreed.

If I understand the Gox setup, the USD/BTC exchanging is handled by it's own server, which cannot be split up onto multiple servers due to the way it works, and the rest of the exchange is on another server. I suspect that if LTC/USD was added, then it would be another server working independantly, although running the same program as the current USD/BTC server, so similar limitations, but not a negative effect on the current setup.

That probably didn't make any sense. Too much red bull.

I think the introduction of LTC will come alongside their new trading engine.

Now the question is, once their server are responsive again, will there be a massive sell or buy?

Flash crash?

But this is now the norm with Mt Crox (of youknowwhat) and I'm sure peeps are getting used to it. Actually, the plus side of this creaky infrastructure is the taming of the possible bubble.

API hasn't released trade info for over 5 minutes and their site is barely loading.
