I would like to make a donation at https://www.joinwecanbeheroes.org/donate/  using Bitcoins.

Can you post your Bitcoin donation address online so myself and others around the world can easily make donations using Bitcoins?

Thanks so much,

Roger Ver

I wish it wasn't the UN famine relief, because they have a serious problem kowtowing to warlords and sending mountains of aid to the wrong people, but there isn't a whole lot of better options with this particualr set of needs.

Building a free market monetary system is probably the best way to help every person in the world, in the long term.

In the short term, if that organization accepted BTC, I'll pledge a few coins.

So I have recently become addicted to comics. And I have started to notice heaps of ads in DC Comics about the huge starvation epidemic taking place in Africa. Here is what is printed in the back of Aquaman #6. Note I hate Aquaman but love Mera that's why I bought this issue. Anyway here is what is printed:

"Countries in the Horn of Africa
(Ethiopia, Somalia, and Kenya)
are facing the worst drought
in 60 years, causing a severe
hunger crisis. According to the
U.S. government, the crisis
is unlike any other in terms
of displacement, death and
starvation of the population. More
than 13 million people are in need
of critical assistance. In Somalia
alone, more than 250,000 people
face starvation. Hundreds of
thousands have fled to refugee
camps seeking help. The situation
is so critical that the United
Nations officially declared famine
for the first time in 21 years.

Humanitarian aid organizations are
on the ground working to provide
much needed relief to the drought
and famine-stricken areas. But
they need more help. They need
our help.

Join the Justice League and
DC Entertainment in raising
awareness and funds for three
nonprofit partners, Save the
Children, International Rescue
Committee and Mercy Corps,
who are delivering aid where it is
needed most. DC Entertainment
will match donations 100%, and
50% of the purchase price from
We Can Be Heroes merchandise
will go to saving lives.

The people of the Horn of Africa need us now.
One small act can make you a hero.

Normally I detest charity for the destructive dependencies it creates, but this is something that even I see as vital. As a community I do not see why we cannot help. I'm sure there are some coin farmers who can think up innovative ways to help.

What say you ladies and gentlemen?

DO NOT DONATE TO MY ADDRESS, we need to sort out a secure system.
