Whether you like it or not, those of us who have been involved with crypto currencies, even as bitcoin was crashing from its peak earlier this year, look like geniuses. Even the trolls.
If you are holding onto a nice profit, regardless of the crypto currency you support, I'm happy for you.
But whether you take your trading profits or not, get
involved with the industry.
Pursue that idea you've been thinking about for awhile...open that online store you've always thought about...whatever.
University if Nicosia now accepts Bitcoin for tuition payment (
http://upstart.bizjournals.com/news/technology/2013/11/21/university-of-nicosia-accepts-bitcoin.html ) ...so go spend a few years getting your undergrad/graduate degree in a beautiful European country. Use this opportunity to keep developing yourself.
The virtual currencies' economic progress will depend on people getting
involved with interesting projects and commerce endeavors; not just as a means for trading activity and speculation.
This is what I'm doing with my own projects and I look forward to
YOUR projects as well, regardless of the crypto currencies they will support.
Cheers.
