People nowadays are only concerned about price jump and how they could easily make quick bucks in the shortest possible time. However having said that, Bitcoin these days are more stable compared to last year and year before that and i think that is good enough even though it doesn't attract the attention of short term investment speculators.

Let's face it, wouldn't it be nice to have beautiful stories to attract these people but ask ouselves do we want that to happen in the first place? Much better to have genuine bitcoiners who are interested in the technology and advantages that the coin has to offer. Not a get-rich-quick scheme investment tool.

We need a good story of BTC being an investment haven when the sky is falling elsewhere.

Here's a story of a guy that made a bit of money on the US stock market drop, buying at at the lows (http://money.cnn.com/2015/08/24/investing/stock-market-selloff-i-made-money/index.html?iid=surge-grid-dom)

It would be great to have a similar story of how someone saw the market crashing and went to Bitcoin for a safe alternative.

The problem we're seeing this time around is that the bitcoin price has shadowed the stock market valuation...this isn't good. There needs to be a separation, a non-correlated relationship, but I think investor psychology needs to change for this to happen.

What do you think?

This is something that need more explanation if you want thoughts by the members. You need to give facts and to give analysis in order that this thing can be confirmed that is true. At the end you need to give your opinion about this sentence and your thoughts how is possible that this can be changed. Only one sentence given at the end is not an interpretation or an explanation that can promote ideas about it. It is more an sentence to end the post than a real thought that can stimulate the others. I think that the principal post must be more engaging than that above.

Maybe I am wrong but the lack of thoughts is an fact of my interpretation.

I am not an expert in this field but if i had the above may say the mine.

Not to go pessimistic about this, but sometimes, stories like this make people more delusional about being rich without actually knowing and caring what is really happening about them. We all know that bitcoin isn't always the safest bet when it comes to investing, but still we are here because we know that there's a lot in store for bitcoin; we already know what we're doing.
