Hello! We are preparing white paper on distributed supercomputer. This may sound a bit like Golem, but decided to start it for some time ago (before Golem got much attention) and we went a bit different way and have a different approach. Basically we are going to combine BOINC platform and smart-contracts. But that still will be a decentralized network, which allows to rent computing power and to mine tokens, performing computing tasks on any devices. In our network we are going to introduce supernodes, managing tasks distribution and also learning algorithms for applications optimization usage. The big general goals is to teach the system to optimize computing devices usage for specific applications and to optimize (select itself) applications and parameters for solving certain tasks. The final goal is to teach system to select by itself the most important tasks, which will be most profitable and rent computing power from itself.
The key difference from Golem is that as far as system is BOINC and smart-contract based we can start converting BOINC credits into our tokens and sell computing time for these tokens to anyone just right now. The basic technology is already here.
Also, we have already a set of tasks in the field of drug development, which need urgent solution. The first project, which will be deployed in our network is DrugDiscovery@home project for in silico drug discovery in the field of cancer and age-related diseases.
So, we are asking you about suggestions for the name of the project.

The first test tasks are going to be from the life science, so one of the suggested names was LifeTree, which also gives association with roots as computing power provided to the system by sellers and leaves, results which buyers get from the system, while fruits are results, which buyers convert into profits.
Another was Universe with greek name for it Cosmos, where each supernode is supposed to be like a separate world and being more dedicated and specialized on some sort of tasks.
The very maximum task is to make distributed artificial intelligence supercomputing system, which will bring us to Singularity
