Or he can leave it to the States and wash his hands... Isn't that the American way?

It also makes sense in a way. If all Governors manage their States properly, according to WHO recommendations, ie full lockdown where is needed, etc then the other States without cases can continue while restricting movement of people in/out the state, forcing them into quarantine, etc.

Actually Juggy777 you missed the other result: "Attempt" to recover the economy by letting people go out, while the Pandemic ravages everyone breaking the economy into pieces anyway.

So its really not like the options are just "save the economy, or trust the doctors". Trusting the doctors might actually save your economy from an even worse result. You see, if things were locked down in say, February. this probably wouldn't have gone out of hand and very likely things would be over by now.

Also many things have already happened, even if you forcibly reopen business, its is not going to be the same as before the virus, this is going to take a lot more time to heal.

The only thing i'm waiting to see is if the USD will finally collapse. I hope you have at least part of your savings in bitcoin...

the american economy is actually global, state fragmentation causes conflicts and waste of ressources

Revolution of Power
Mr. Trump is consumed by fury I can feel his energy flow going zigzag as he talks on live t.v. Only the grace of an angel will lift that dark aura I had seen in him.

I’m going to skip the stats about the current situation in US as I’m sure that we all are monitoring it, and I’ll highlight the fact that Trump has to take a very tough decision, and we need to sincerely pray that it turns out to be the right decision for him and the American citizens.

The decision I’m talking about is 1) take a risk and reopen US for work and save the American economy, and also save people from loosing their jobs or 2) trust in the medical experts and keep US under a lockdown and in that process kill America’s economy and make people jobless in the process.

Now whichever decision he takes US looses but the question for him is which is a greater loss that US can bear, the loss of it’s economy or the loss of it’s citizens.

Furthermore since there’re many people who know politics much better than I do, I would like to ask you’ll if you had to take this decision what would you choose US economy or it’s citizens life?.

It will not help at all if Trump reopens the US for work.
There is a huge threat in the country and it is called coronavirus. Even if Americans work there is still a threat for them about their lives and in my opinion this threat is going to keep them unproductive.

Trump will have some help if he decides against strict lockdowns.

Again, check the article for links and emphases.

Some Sheriffs Are Standing Bravely Against Impositions Of Soft Martial Law

The link in that passage from Deist's article is to a Megan Fox article at PJ Media concerning Franklin County Sheriff Scott Nichols announcing his decision to exercise restraint regarding enforcement of Maine Governor Janet T. Mills' order, purportedly to fight coronavirus, imposing limitations on the exercise of individual rights.

The announcement at the sheriff department's Facebook page is in regard to Mills' March 31 stay-at-home order.

In the announcement, Nichols makes clear that he does think there is danger from coronavirus. He recommends that people follow "strict [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention] guidelines and recommendations" and "use masks if needed, wash your hands frequently, disinfect, wear gloves and use common sense in all situations."

However, Nichols also makes it clear that his office will employ discretion to protect people in the county from being subjected to some of the more restrictive implications of the governor's coronavirus order.

Nichols' announcement begins as follows:

A message from the Sheriff regarding the latest Executive Order

We will not be setting up a Police State. PERIOD.

The Sheriff's Office will not purposefully go out and stop vehicles because they are on the road or stop and ask why people are out and about. To do so puts our officers at risk. This is not Nazi Germany or Soviet Russia where you are asked for your papers!

Life is more important than anything. I wouldn't care of money if something happens to me or my family. We all do jobs and earn for what? To make a good living right? But if the life itself is sacrificed, would we take all those money to our graves? The best thing for the government to do is to prioritise people's lives over any economy or not so important things. If there's life, you can enjoy the world. I'm confident, if he protects peoples lives in need, no matter what the economy, people wouldn't blame him for that.

there was not a single moment, in which the american population didn't had to pray,

"in god we trust" was written on all state emblems, it was never different, from the beginning, in the history of the united states.

it is not different in europe, and in many other governments, and in china, the population is unaware, while their financial leadership does.

Trump didn't lock down anything except some international travel. The States have done the lock down orders. The federal government is assisting the lock down though by sending affected people money.

It's more of a win or nothing for him. He can't be blamed for the economy.
