Coinbase changed their policy and it was the wrong decision for them.
No matter the exchange, you will be met with a frustrating experience at customer service. I’ve had some bouts with Bittrex, Kraken, and Coinbase, and none of them were pleasant and my problems weren’t resolved in a timely manner. Being someone who worked in the forefront of customer experience, I honestly understand the response time given the amount of requests these guys have, though that was never an excuse for companies to hire a handful of CSRs if they accommodate millions of $ flowing in and out of their platform. There really isn’t a better alternative when it comes to customer service in centralized exchanges, so it’s either try another one and just cross-fingers.
Us boycotting Coinbase unfortunately isn't really going to do much. See what happened when privacy-conscious people tried to convince other people to boycott Facebook/Instagram due to their privacy issues? Yea, merely a scratch in their userbase. People are simply going to use the easiest-to-use platforms they know; and in this case, one of the leading choices is definitely Coinbase.

Almost completely agree. I've used almost every exchange available to my nationality -- Bittrex, Poloniex, Binance, etc. Customer service has ranged from non-existent (literally no replies ever on any channel) to frustrating (have you tried this? Please be patient).
To be fair though, I've also experienced quick resolutions on disputes from Localbitcoins -- but that's probably more automated than anything else.
And to be very fair, after trying many such centralized businesses, I've actually found one crypto exchange to have fairly quick and professional support - Bitpanda.
But it still stands. Centralized businesses often fail at customer support. And that's true not just for crypto.
Customer service is one of the aspects of evaluating the quality of the platform. If it is weak, the platform may have a good evaluation if the servers are fast, the speed of identity verification, deposit and withdrawal fees, and the guarantee of customer money.
If we compare the services provided by most of the transfer platforms, then Khaled is the best compared to many of the services that are considered a waste of time, and some of them are scams.
If you think they are bad, stop using them.

I don't really fancy Coinbase and as such have not used it, hence I might to fully understand what you feel, but what really caught my attention is the aspect of having less customer care representative, it is not right for an exchange as big as them, some people will once in a while run into issues and if they are not properly responded to, might make even more mistakes. Nevertheless, Coinbase is a very big exchange, boycotting them will be difficult because they already have a lot of users and as such good liquidity which of course drives more users to it. Also, it is a centralized exchange, and the other exchange which you can use as an alternative is also a centralized exchange, hence no much difference, but yet there are still people who will like to use Coinbase, that is how the world works. However, if you are fade up with the exchange, try another, maybe Binance will suit you well.
You can't boycott something without first offering a better alternative, and they are all pretty much the same.
The problem with putting an alternative is that most of them will not survive if they do care about their customers, those alternatives are customer exploitable which is a vicious cycle. To be honest, if the people always want to profit at the expense of other people, I think that a better alternative will not be possible. I feel sad that we can't do anything about our dependence to this kind of business models.
Coinbase like to block accounts without reasons however people continue to use it. Mad world
You have raised a very valid point. Though it hasn't happened to me I have seen a lot of people complaining about their indecency so I think they should take proper care of the needs of their users.

I'm not a Coinbase fan,but they are a big company,so many people use them because they are big,which means they have a somewhat decent reputation.

Until they fix their absolutely inexcusable and borderline criminal customer service, I see no reason why Coinbase should be listed as a reputable exchange in this community.
They literally have 1/100th of the customer service representatives they should have and are too greedy to do the right thing and hire the people they need.
