Actually speaking forums are great place to learn, but you need to be active in forum constantly, senior members will tell you all details, you need to focus on forum constantly, but you will be able to gain something through knowledge and forum,

I agree because here in forum we should be doing give and take. Even if you are a beginner you should also try to contribute and let others learn through you. You do not have to be giving advices or something immediately but something as simple as announcing a specific news about crypto is participation enough.

I was impressed by another user who answered I question a newbie asked, he answered the question in details, so we need more of that from our senior colleagues.

I believe that is the purpose of forum communities, any query you have can be posted and one who see will give it a reply or give you a recommendation or whatever you seek but also this is just an online forum so anything you read has to be verified, for example if you see someone say they can recovery bitcoin that you sent to wrong address and asking you to pay 10% as fee upfront but this is pure sam cause we know bitcoin transactions are irreversible and one who is trying to trick you to milk some money.

Time flies by so fast and it only means that being active here is a choice and you'd see everyone remaining active still.

For you OP, just be active and if you've got some questions that you have to ask and you wanna know more, don't be shy to ask it. A lot of forum members will be willing to answer that for you.

This is how our forum is, and many are helpful even if we don't know each other personally.

It’s quite heart-warming as corny that sounds how in times of confusion or distress someone can answer all your questions and guide you accordingly. We were all once beginners here as well and we have learned a lot coming from the other members of the forum whether that is from an old member or a new one.
Yeah, we have been there and we understand how a beginner is feeling. Some might be silently reading everything here and still learns a lot.

But if you engage and asks questions that you want to know the answers, it's for free and no one is going to belittle you with that because we're all learners here.

its always a best way to deal in this forum  by helping others to answer their issues and lucky
for us because we have seniors that is willing to take that step just to enlighten us, actually there
are accounts that is created even older aside from Theymos and Satoshi of course that still active
now and giving knowledge to newbies .
Exactly what am doing, taking my time to navigate round the forum, reading threads and posts,  I will be active by God's Grace, because of what have seen here so far,  and growing here requires alot of activeness and research,  but I have a question,  when we talk about being active here, how many posts per day can someone make in order to be considered active here, I just want to learn and know my left from my right. No offence please.
that's it, one step forward and take your time , this forum exist for very long time so why
need to rush learning when we can contribute and being helped at the same time , see you aroung
mate and stay active and knowledgeable .

Forums are great places to learn if you are active you will learn a lot. The senior staff here are very good and they present very difficult information in a simple way which helps the younger members like us to understand a lot. Senior members have much more knowledge than newbies and will find the right solution if you present your problem.

Good evening everyone,  coming to a forum like this we have some colleagues that has been here before us and for a long period of time, i was surprised to see an account created way back 2014, that's more than a decade ago, and in my own way of imaginations, I was just thinking about the kind of knowledge that user have acquired from this space, I've been here for just a month and I know the things have learnt within that period of one month,

For us the newbies here on this space we still have a long way to go, and at such more knowledgeable threads and topics should be created so we can get more knowledge, and as newbies we still stand a chance to be corrected if wrong, basically what am saying is that our senior colleagues should carry us the newbies along and not leave us behind,
I was impressed by another user who answered I question a newbie asked, he answered the question in details, so we need more of that from our senior colleagues.

@OP, There were so many accounts registered on this forum back in 2010 and so many more in 2011 up to the year you mentioned. The fact is that some of those old registered users are no longer active, but for the many members that are active on the forum, you can learn from them if you are active in the forum too.

If you carefully scrutinize the forum properly, you will find thousands of educational topics on this forum that are capable of giving you all the basic knowledge you need about Bitcoin. Also, new topics flood the forum every day.

Here in the forum we all want to learn. Newbie or an old-timer it doesn’t change the fact that we are all learning still. The older members might have a little more knowledge than newbies but it doesn’t mean the learning stops there. The crypto world is constantly changing and developing so there’s always room for improvement.
