Thanks. Patiently waiting and prepared to be generous in my contribution both in code and coins.

I had to put this on hold for a while because of another project, but I'm still working on it. I will post an update when I have something to show. At that point, I will also make the repository public.

So any progress in this? I would start a pot for this and contribute myself.

Hi folks!

I am currently developing a trading bot, mostly for personal use so far, with the following features/properties

  • web based, i.e. you can run it on your own server or hosting solution, as long as it can run a ruby on rails application, and you can access it from anywhere you want to. i might provide a web service for those who can't host it on their own
  • configurable: you will be able to configure how trade signals are generated. this also means that it will only be as autonomous as you want it to be, ranging from a simple trading aid to a completely autonomous trading bot
  • open source, obviously
  • starting with support for the bitstamp api, but mtgox will follow if there is demand

I am still very early in development, but I'd like to hear opinions on the concept! Would this be worth releasing, would people be interested?
