this forum in itself has a board for upcoming projects and airdrops however i agree that this sounds promising the project would probably have to pay a fee to get their project listed just like in exchange it is still important that the upcoming projects to be listed are trusted and has really good potential

The site having airdrops have been existing for quite long already. Haven't checked them for so long.
But just to give several sites that you can check -

https://www.coingecko.com/learn/new-crypto-airdrop-rewards
https://airdrops.io/
https://airdropalert.com/

The last site that I listed I knew has been existing for years. So you just need to know where to look at and you can easily see the list.
However, as already mentioned by others, most of them would just waste your time and resources.

they are not very well-known projects, they may not be valuable even if you received some airdrops you will just feel like you are scammed in the end. but if you are lucky you may find a gem

so many airdrops i missed as well.  but there are some that i found out that have just recently been launching. lots of giveaways in this page https://toneco.tonup.io/
TonUp is a launchpad for Telegram Network, they are doing marketing campaigns these days.

This year, we've witnessed projects such as $Tia, $Pyth, $tip etc., offering users substantial airdrop rewards. Those with access to information secured the free drops, while individuals like myself, who lacked  access to such insights, missed out.

Naturally, a thought came to mind: What if there were a web3 exploration incentive platform that allowed users to engage with popular mainnet projects, unlock airdrop opportunities, and receive rewards within the ecosystem? This way, belonging to the community would provide easy access to airdrop information. I think something like this should be created. That is, if it's not in existence already. Your thoughts?

Promise of distributing free token becomes a marketing strategy for many new project. Some of these projects are earning lots of gas fees because of the airdrop farmers. I have seen in a Chinese group that a group of people are farming airdrops in a room and some of these people manage more than thousands of accounts to farm the airdrop. Just think about how much that will be if they really get the airdrop but if there isn't any airdrop or the value is not significant enough just think about the losses they will take.

Problem with Zealy and Galxe usually is that so many people join that there arent much rewards for the users. One other platform i didnt see mentioned yet is Linity, they have big section with opportunities and airdrops listed.

What you just have to do is to keep looking for those platforms based on what you're thinking about incentives that gives to their users by holding a certain crypto. It's a common thing for many platforms and all you have to do is to keep looking on them and basically, the more quantity you hold for that specific token or crypto, the more rewards you'll get.

Afaik, only $tia sorta falls under that category because it rewarded to osmo/atom stakers (but it had only minimum criteria of staking $75 worth, you didn't get more if you staked more), otherwise most reward for being active users of certain chains, it could be their own in testnet phase or may take evm chains activity in consideration.

I think I saw one but it's on the solana network. There were many already but it's not that too popular so you have to do your own research.

Reasons why airdrops are valuable is that they are hard to get, not easy to see beforehand, or if they are, they are wither controlled by whales or just won't end up being valuable.
Reason i got expensive airdrops in the past wasn't because i was hunting them. I didn't even see them coming. I was just excited about the right project before majority of people even knew about it.

Uniswap users didn't know they were going to be rewarded, most nft traders didn't either. If there would have been more people getting rewarded, it would have just made rewards smaller, or bots doing all the work.

There are already existed. Galxe, zealy, and many more platform acts as a mediator on the airdrops we can earn. Yes its a privilege and some of these people earned airdrops. Web3 extend to a lot of chains so better be activr on each of these. More on L2 or cosmos blockchain like injective, atom and somehow related to modular. Many more opportunities.

True. I think I've gotten what I want. Fingers crossed

You can search for information from many social media channels such as X, FB, TG, DC,... but besides that, there is also the popularity of many Web3 platforms that support marketing services in crypto space, and as far as I know there are Galxe, Zealy,... which provide a quite popular way to interact with parties.
Although in recent times, some projects have rewarded the community with large sums of money, in truth, airdrops have never been a form of safety, as saturation will cause quality products to fail lows appear a lot, causing negative effects for the market. However, this is part of the job in this market, and still depends on individual research.

Wdym with tip? Was this airdrop significant? Anyway, all big value airdrops came unknown, the platforms you ask about already there like galx/zealy/questn etc, but none of significant value airdrop rewarded users of these sites.

Airdrops are sheer luck, even people who got certain high value airdrops wouldn't be able to say confidently that this particular project gonna give airdrop in future.

It was an airdrop, man. Maybe not a substantial amount, but it's something, you know? Big airdrops didn't happen unexpectedly, in my opinion. Announcements were made, and those who had the information got on it.  Someone suggested Task2Get. I think I'll do my research on that.

There were speculations until confirmed by project themselves, but once they confirmed that they were to do an airdrop they stopped counting user interactions, or made announcement after snapshot for user interactions were taken.

Good luck with task2get.

I think the idea of a Web3 exploration incentive platform sounds pretty awesome. It would be a game-changer for the crypto community. I'm not sure if something like this already exists, but if it doesn't, it's a concept that could bring a storm to the crypto world. And if anyone is thinking about developing such a platform, count me in as an early adopter!

I have a different opinion about such idea. Airdrops are generally just opportunities provided out of the goodness of the heart of project founders — it's not guaranteed and as such, should be sourced by users themselves. Crypto from the onset has always been a research based game. If you're not putting the hours into research, you'll most likely end up coping all the available opportunities.

If you still like the idea, you should check out the airdrops page on DefiLlma here: https://defillama.com/airdrops

I totally get where you're coming from tho. tbh It's a common issue for many in the web3 space.
But you know, there's actually something pretty close to your idea already out there. It's called Task2Get, which is a new platform launched by Bitget Wallet.
So, the cool part about Task2Get is its aim to showcase popular and potential mainnets/projects. This way, users get to participate more in airdrop interactions and potentially earn future rewards.

Why I think Task2Get is interesting? because it focuses on showing off both popular and upcoming mainnet projects. This means users like us get a better shot at jumping into airdrop interactions. So currently, they've partnered up with ZetaChain for their first activity, featuring tasks across six DApps with a massive 700k ZETA reward pool. So you can now interact with those DApps and complete tasks in your own wallet app to receive rewards and it's that simple.
