Building a website today is easy and for those looking to save on hiring a website designer. For a basic website, the cost is minimal making it easy for the one to manage your time. There are so many website builder sites that you can choose from like GoDaddy.

You can personalize your website with the content you require to advertise your business. You can upload photos and videos if you need without having to code as the layouts/themes are easy to follow. This is how it is affordable to create a website.

How much a website developer should charge for a job depends on their experience, location, and the demand for their services. A person in the USA will have a different rate than someone in India. Someone with a unique skill, like people who can work with "Web3", will be in greater demand than those who can build simple HTML/WordPress sites.

If you are looking for how much you should charge, compare the rates of your competitors. If you are planning to freelance online, check how much people are charging on the marketplaces for freelance services that you are going to use. If you are going to work with local clients, check developers in your area and how much they are charging.

Looking up on fiverr.com for website building gigs,I see that they charge from 70-200$ on average but there is also high price points up to 2000$.But this number will highly depend on how complex the website in question has to be.The more complex, the more time and effort consuming it is,them ore money you'll charge. For example, building a simpe wordpress website isn't comparable to building a whole shopping website like Amazon.

Concerning the market,I guess that these days most digital skills like programming, design etc.. are highly lucrative and the demand is also there.

Correctly stated.... Cheers!

Build your own website that you can upload to free home page sites.

For free website hosting look here https://www.absolutely-free-hosting.com/ or here http://www.free-webhosts.com/ and there are more.

For a simple website builder, you could start out with "Netscape Communicator 4.79." Google "download Netscape Communicator 4."

For slightly more complex, but almost as easy to use, try the Seamonkey browser. It has a built-in website builder that is almost as user friendly as Netscape. Download it here https://www.seamonkey-project.org/.

If you have skills in building a website, you can go to fiverr.com and offers your services for $5. I suggest you do that is because if you can provide cheap price services, you will get so many customers, especially if you can prove that you can work with dedication and you can finish the job at the right time. When the customer satisfied with your services, they will promote your services to others or their friends, so you will start to get more customers. If you can get many customers, then that will be a good time to increase the payment because many people are proven your services.  Don't think about the payment for the first time work because you need to build trust for your customers, and if they trust you, they will use your services over and over, and you will have more customers in the future.

How hard would it be to implement a streaming website such as a Twitch or YouTube and is it feasible to do so. i.e Profitable etc etc..

Creating something like this is as easy or difficult as you're willing
to work for it. We can use a diagram to see what you need for such a platform.

Your system has three main functions: one to provide content where you will implement the login for live streaming, live chat and whatever
your website has.

One is to integrate a money making scheme for accepting gifts, payments, etc.

Last is for monitoring to make sure things don't go different to planned. For example, if your platform is dedicated to gaming, you don't want someone
doing political campaign there. This is just an example and monitoring is so important.

Creating such a system is not difficult but for you, I don't recommend doing it yourself or paying someone to do it. I feel like you are already missing
the research bit of essential information so please don't pay someone to do programming if you don't know what to ask for. You will fail and lose your money. Also you're talking to us about
profitability but just to be bold a do a reality check for you, everything can be made profitable as long as you work hard enough and strategically to make the sales. If someone already
knew how to make something profitable, they would do it and not provide advice here on the forum on how to make it profitable, right?

Instead, I advise you to use an already built solution. 10 Platforms to Build Your Live Streaming Websites & App
Just do your research.

How much should a website developer charge for a job, what's a low medium and high price and is it an in demand job skill to have? Any thoughts or comments are welcome. Thanks.

I have a friend that he is working on a company that they charge for a simple eshop design $800.
I think that this price is too high and you can make better deals in lower prices. Apart from that, there are a lot of talented people that can help you in Fiverr.

You can save a lot money by using shopify platform theme to design a beautiful ecommerce site. It's easy to use. It's just two days work not counting the contents you put on.

Programming a website from scratch is always going to be more $$$ than using wordpress, Wix or other website builders.

Assuming you're interested in programming from scratch, there are some criteria I would consider:

1) Does the website need a frontend? If yes how complicated it is? (for example: special links that need to be done programmatically, use of advanced design such as WebGl, etc)
2) Does the website need a backend (databases, mail server, etc.)? If yes how complicated it is? (Does it need to run a specific backend script and has it already been programmed / algorithm created?)
3) Does the website need to be interconnected to a blockchain? If yes to which one? (Does it need to be connected to Ethereum or to a self blockchain created by the customer's company?)
4) Does the website need to be very secure? If yes why and what data is it holding that the customer would not want to leak? (Example: customer credit card details, medical record, etc.)

Sometimes people who are not experienced are looking for a full-stack web developer in the hope they will find the whole IT department. Let me do a reality check for you, nobody will do this.
A website depending on its complexity can go anywhere from $1,000 for a very basic yet working one to $20,000 for one that can do specific things. Imagine you want to develop your own social
media platform. You can easily do it on WordPress and that is going to cost you less than $1,000 but you won't be able to do much with it. It will be very insecure and most likely, you will need to employ
more programmers to do what you want to do. Instead, coding a social media platform is likely to cost you up to $20,000 for the initial platform, then you will further spend on improvements,
increasing computer resources (growing server RAM, database size, etc.). If you can code it yourself and find a team to do it, take down that $20k  Grin
