I worked very diligently to have the nameserver remove them and today I received a reply that their service has been suspended after a thorough investigation. They’ll most likely make another website but this one at least is now dust in the wind like our 💰, but this will save any unsuspecting buyers from the original site.

Hi,

I live 1,5 hours from his "supposed" warehouse.
Because i was not allowed to go to his warehouse and pay after i had seen it, i did not order.

If theire is really something in germany, i can drive to the place. But i do not think theire will be something.

Hi fabfab82 and fellow bitcointalk enthusiasts!

You most certainly made the correct decision. Smiley  I believe I have become the latest victim  Cry of the bitcoin/altcoin mining machine scams; which is unfortunate. Huh  I did not do all of my homework or discover the more convincing posts before ordering.  But, rather than see others fall victim to the misrepresentation, deception and theft - I am warning anyone who reads and will alert all of the vendors who are aiding and abetting their fraud by alerting each vendor in writing with a carbon copy of each email going to the financial crimes divisions in each respective country.  My best recommendation is not to spend your Bitcoin or Altcoins ordering from or through https://altmininggear.com given they have not responded to any email requests for shipping information for the bitcoin payment made through their payment representative and vendor www.gourl.ioWARNING!  www.altmininggear.com FRAUD, THEFT, DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES

Guys..... please and please stay away from these re-sellers. We are talking of several thousands of dollars here. This is my experience. Early November this year when everyone is crazy about getting their hands on Baikal x10 miner (including me Smiley), after ordering from asicminermarket and taking for ever to arrive. I plunged into buying one miner (50TH/s model) from this good looking website called (espered.com) http://www.espered.com/.

Onset, my instinct tells me it that this could be a scam site. So I insisted on paying the $2,360 for the miner by Paypal or else I am out! So they agreed as you can check out on their website with paypal integrated. I thought I got myself a good deal for a lovely and powerful miner.

Waited for over 6 weeks and I began to doubt. They will not reply to my numerous emails asking for the tracking details talk more of when are they shipping. At that time my x10 miner arrived from Asicminermarket which I had ordered after I have paid on espered.com.

Then I knew that I have been scammed on espered.com. Instantly I was on the phone to paypal. who eventually got my money back safely to my bank account.

So I count myself so lucky this time. In summary guys, please be patient and do not buy from these crooks. Even when you see them accepting paypal does not guarantee your delivery. So stay off espered.com. Same vain, I cannot vouch for altmininggear.com nor http://www.coinminerstore.com. They are all scammers.

Asicminermarket and manufacturers are authentic!

Haven’t come across any legit resellers of the baikal in my previous searches, Hot newer products always bring a plethora of scammers looking to take unsuspecting buyers. Do your due diligence on the company/person buying from and you will be okay.

That is true, but baikal is sold out. So the only way is a reseller.

For the new baikal minimum quantity is 6. So not an option for me. Theire i am again supposed to buy at reseller.

Direct from baikal is safest option, but many have yet to receive their orders at all or in a timely manner. paypal purchase at least allows you to recoup your purchase amount, nothing lost but time 👍🏻

Very welcome! Doing my best to save others from falling victim of losing their hard earned money. And I see in many posts their are others who are still tempted to order despite the giant red flags 😖

**Scam ** ordered well over a month ago, seller aka Matthew was very responsive uptil order was placed. Now 12/24 still have not received my order nor does he reply to inquiries. Last email correspondence he stated order was held up in customs or some BS excuse. As well the return address in their refund policy section is false and does not even exist! Also it was proven by another forum user in a separate post owner profile pics on their website belong to other people and not the ones listed on their website. Sadly I came across the scam posts on this forum too late. Don’t fall victim! You’ve been warned Happy Holidays!

I asked the seller if it is possible to go to his wharehouse and pay instand in cryptocurrency after i have seen the unit. It is a 2,5 hour drive for me.

I also saw he has an account on this forum and offers discounts to customers.

From what I remember, they tried to scam few people and stories like this are always ending bad.

I'm buying my mining equipment only from original manufacture's shops. Because those tempting prices without any proven records for deliveries are one big sign for scam.

Those prices sure are tempting but I don't think I'd trust them with US address, UK registered site, shipping from Germany, based in the Netherlands?

Previous thread here which seems to come to the same conclusion and one report of being scammed:

Hi all,

I am wondering if somebody have some experience with : https://altmininggear.com

It is a new site since this year and has normal prices in my opinion.

I mailed him about paying options, and he mailed me back within an hour.
So that part is ok.

But because i can only pay in cryptocurrency, i am a little "affraid" (don't know right word).
After paying, i have no adress, Insurance etc. With money, PayPal or creditcard i have.

I am not sure what to do, pay or not pay  Huh

Does anybody have bought before from this seller in the months he is existing?

Regards,

Fabian
