ive been watching the gox orderbook for 24hours .. well i slept 2 hours or something..

it's beautifull to watch all the manipulation..

- 600btc wall that could drive prices down
- multiple shorting +2k (which are still active btw.. so you know price is gonne go up at some moment when the short is closed, so keep price up and this baby will boom us up to heavens)
- 130$ wall lol we sold more below the wall then the wall's size itself.. (if we didnt sell the wall would have been eaten or maybe it goes away because fake)
- ....

and some more stuff i forgot about.

without manipulation price would be 130+ for sure..   then again

THIS IS BITCOIN! Smiley

i love this shit!

its not manipulation, just people taking advantage of the banking holidays. but yea, anyone who pridcts that the price will both go up and down will always be right.

I have a bit of a suspicion that the OP might be on to something. Not sure about specifics there, but Monday's seem to see a fair bit of action lately.

People can still trade Bitcoins during weekends, the higher volume in weekdays is because of more corporate traders who are the true manipulators of the price.

I don't think anyone considers this weekend a slump. There has been record levels of bits and asks.

I get the feeling that there's a people trying to take advantage of the weekends low volumes to manipulate the market.

Two reasons
1. So that they can buy in low before new players can get money into the market (on Monday).
2. To make money off people who sell out scared.

My prediction... The price will go up and down for a while, but in between there will be some significant buy orders.
