with regards to your driver issues i had similar issues with my 5870. I downloaded driver sweeper v2.5 and used it in safe mode. Everything was clean as a whistle then. DId a fresh install of ccc 11.5 and SDK 2.4. Dnt mine using ur gpu and cpu at the same time, pointless. just do gpu

I've been trying to set up my 5770 to mine. I installed different version of the SDK, I installed the opencl driver, I tried rolling back the driver (which I can't do btw because the installer says it's already installed no matter how much ATI stuff/drivers I uninstall). After installing the opencl driver, gpu caps only recognizes it for the cpu.

Anyway that was a week ago and I kinda gave up and decided to download bitcoin-miner to see if I could get some more performance out of mining on my cpu. Lo and behold, it says "Using SSE2, GPU Juniper", and starts mining at +-90mhash/s! Then I tried disabling cpu mining on it and it goes up to 110 mhash/s.

So what's the deal here, I can't use my gpu on any of the other mining utilities, but I can on this one but at a seemingly slower speed than it should be?

BTW, in trying to fix my driver issues, I uninstalled CCC, and now when I try to reinstall it it says it's also already installed. Since it isn't, I can't even use it to OC my card anymore. Yes i mad.

Also, after I save some money mining bitcoins, I may want to upgrade to a 6xxx card for gaming and mining. Do you think I'll have less issues, or is it more an OS/hardware problem?
