It was a DDoS attack.
Same here . The host might be down for several minutes but this informs how mad people actually are for bitcointalk.org !
Yeah it has been happening for me too. I think it is happening for almost everyone who is using this site because if the servers are down its for every user that the site shows error 502. Cloud fare sucks. Probably theymos should fix it in a couple of days if the problem is from the site's side. At least that's what cloud fare is saying.
Site went down for 12 min for me, Does anyone else got this issue here?
It was down for me also,but all day I have problem with very slow loading of forum-and sometimes forum is just go offline.I hope admin will fix this.

Same thing happened with me. I almost logged-in to bitcointalk.to,but I noticed the dates on that site is different, so I never dared to do so. This is bad when on a rush to fill in your reports on any bounties.
502 Bad Gateway Error - Same situation here! 
I believe this was the DDoS attack attempt because of the current situation with the Merits that is preventing account farmers to continue their farming harvest!
( Probably a team of the highly organized farmers/hackers with the background history of hacking experience)
