Please in the future if you make any questions just ask yourself first if there is an alternative solution. The best answer to your question has been given by @hilariousandco. Which problem is even not related to the forum can't expect any implementation from the admin. The forum gives you the opportunity to join a signature campaign, but it's not even related to forum activity. If you are doing any work through a forum then your responsibility to contact your manager. For that forum PM is helpful.

Hope you got desired answers from here. Please lock the thread from the lower left to avoid unnecessary discussions.

How would I have made my campaign manager understand?
Thank you.
Just tell him that you got sick. Its quite surprising that your suggestion is to add a new board for the sake of the absentee due to sickness. This is a forum my friend and not a working place. Its sounds like you wanna have a place of courtersy to say that you are in sick and those managers are taking note on that. Nice idea, only if the focus of the forum is to have an efficient bounty system payout platform but its not.

Anyway, the first suggestion fits the simplest answer to your question.

My opinion will be that even if someone is sick, then this person simply has to vacate a place in the subscription company. Today, we see many bounty hunters who come up with different stories in every possible way to protect their alternative profiles. They lie. Tell me, can a person who participates in a subscription campaign just lie about his illness? Maybe easy. It's hard to prove here.
Therefore, everything is simple, I fell ill, or for some reason did not fulfill the conditions of the manager, you just need to leave.

Thanks all! Atleast am beginning to know how the forum functions. I knew here isn't a social media like Facebook. Then I also know it is a forum. A forum should have high cordiality to social media, but that's not the case here.

If by "high cordiality" you mean "more cordial" then I disagree. There's plenty of non-cordiality on FB, it just gets moderated.

Also, this forum in particular sees a lot of dishonesty in the name of people trying to make money, often at the expense of other forum members.

People will do crazy things to get back into this forum, like lie about being newbies.

Maybe Bitcointalk is a sandwich of social media and a forum.

A forum falls under the larger umbrella of social media.

Already have few good answers but I would like to share my personal view; I was in the same position (not sick though).
I have started a new business recently and I was in a tight schedule all the time. As a result, I had to miss posting a few weeks. I asked Hhampuz to allow me continue with the campaign but I realized that it was not anymore possible for me to continue. I asked Hhampuz for a picking someone else although that was the last chance for me.
It’s not like I have to participate in signature campaign. It’s a bonus for us. If we can carry on without any problem, that's fine. If we can't, we should move on.
If you are sick, as said above, you will have 2/3 weeks to have a leave. If you can't, by discussing with the campaign manager, you can extend your leave but if you realize that, it would be harmful for the campaign, and/or if you realize that it’s not possible for you to continue, you simply should move on.
If for this reason, a separate board is required, there will be so many other issue for which more boards will be required.

I want to know if there is a welfare board where a user can update welfare reports.
This occurred to me when I reasoned that assuming I am upto the rank of joining a campaign, and I joined a campaign. It therefore means I will not be able to complete my 1 week task. How would I have made my campaign manager understand?
Thank you.
It's not a common practice these days, but back then some people would create their reputation threads in the reputations board where they would put updates about their accounts, like if they were going to be offline or signing a message when they logged in after a long time, but this was common with trusted members who did business around the forum.

This is not really necessary, especially if your worry is about ranking up in bounties and competing tasks. That's your business with the bounty manager and not the rest of the forum.

signature campaigns usually have a 2 strike rule(at least to the campaigns I have joined) some have one and others have none. you are overthinking too much but if the campaign you joined specifically mentioned that you will be removed if you missed the requirement for one round, it is not that hard to log in and send a PM(just like what hilariousancdco said) to your campaign manager and it will only take you 5-8 mins tops even with a shitty internet.

But I could not login to the forum to see them.
If you couldn't log on to the forum, how would a "welfare board" have helped you in any way?  I don't even know what that term means or what it is exactly that you're suggesting for that matter.  What I do know is that there's no way in hell Theymos is going to create a section such as that.  He's ignored much better suggestions many times, so something like this he won't even give a second's thought to.

What would you do if you were sick and couldn't get in to work irl? Contact your boss. Or message them.
Exactly.  But if you were able to post on some kind of "welfare board", why wouldn't you be able to complete whatever duties a bounty or campaign would require of you?  You'd have to be really sick in order to miss the minimum post count or other campaign/bounty requirement, since all it requires of you is to be at a computer typing--and most bounty hunters put in the minimal amount of effort anyway, so they should be able to "work" no matter how sick they are (unless they're in a hospital or something like that).

Last week I was very down health wise. While on sick bed, the names, comments and posts of many users here were ringing in my mind. But I could not login to the forum to see them.
