too many scams in slack. Some projects did very well, like decentraland, they have a KYC process before you can join their slack.

Slack will not die. ICOs are just a small part of Slack. I myself have my own Slack channel where I coordinate with my techs at work. I kinda preferred Slack over any messaging apps up until the ICO phising attacks happened. Now, I just set those ICOs I follow on mute that way I do not get bothered whenever a notification from that particular workspace occurs.

Is it posible that this so called slack campaign of every ICO due unwanted message or malicious message form unknown sources?

I've noticed that the attacks on every ICO there started to happen most often.

Is this going to be the couse of the application slack to shot down?

Only for ICOs but not for the whole slack, soon the upcoming ICOs will not consider them anymore if the unwanted messages are keep on occurring. By the time it will happen, there will be some other channels that they'll use or discover.

Slack is not a proper channel to use with the ICO projects. Basically, Slack is designed for companies to provide a workspace for workers to
talk all together, about tasks, jobs, etc. But people are misusing it, and use it as a chat/IM tool. No idea what they don't set up a chat server such as Ajaxchat, or maybe use Telegram or any other chat application

I do notice that most of the ICO i joined in slack moved away to protect its members. Although some ICO manager keep reminding the members not to fall for the scam, it is kind of annoying to receive all the spam messages.

I don’t think slack will close down because of this. Perhaps, slack can come up with some solutions to the problems.

I don't think Slack itself is going to shut down but as far as ICO's on Slack, yes people are definitely moving away because of all the scams/phishing attacks happening there.. I'm hearing of so many people getting their MEW's hacked by following links on Slack. I think its scaring a lot of the newbies off.

I think since all the hacks and scams through slack that people are looking more negative towards it.
So it might as well be the cause of less slack campaigns in the future.
yes belief against "slack" has been lost, some people got a fishing message there. and very horrible some mew accounts have been hacked.
0.5 BTC is missing, for me it is a huge amount ..
