Well, crypto is basically a killer for such services as Western Union. Why do you need to use such intermediary as WU when you can just transfer crypto internationally with low fees in a snap of two fingers?
SO Western Union is giving up on XRP after using it 10 times and were apparently against even testing it. It's just hilarious to me that they are once again dismissing new tech, they are famous for passing on the telephone, patent when it was offered to them by Alexander Graham Bell for 100k, I can't wait for them to see how blockchain and crypto will rip the remittance business apart (specially since fees are borderline abusive).
