E dey appear for blockchains with cheap transaction fee, e go allow scammers to take send many low cost transactions. I never read of any case where this thing affect Bitcoin network, but e still good to know about am just Incase say you experience am for future for your BTC wallet. Hardware wallet manufacturers like Ledger don say scammers dey target their users too. So stay alert.

The scam dey work when Dem send potential victims small (near zero) crypto transactions. you go see new entry for your transaction history when e happen. The address wey go send the coins/token go resemble your own. The first and last two or four characters go dey identical.

The scammers go wan make you think say na your own address. So you go con copy am from your transaction history when you wan send money to yourself or another person . For this kind matter now the money go enter the scammer account no be your own.
