With all projects dedicated to enriching the community, I can never stress enough that the important thing is to try, and listen. You won't get much feedback for an idea just like you won't get much praise from a functioning product.

go out there, build it, and wait for all the free criticism to come your way. If you filter the crap they will throw at you and find the Golden nuggets of good suggestions, improve the service.

eventually, it will be self evident, if anybody finds it useful. Make it and see. often people don't really know what they really need and want.

That's a good point about good information is always useful..if i find it useful in my investing there is a good chance someone else will as well.

Ideally i'd like to keep it free to access

Information, when real, is Always useful.

now, if you want to know wether people would be willing to PAY for such info, that might be a different matter altogether.

I'm a software developer and as you can imagine, I love all things data related. I've been working on a few interesting ways to track the behavior or whales in the market and wanted to poll the community to see if other people are also interested in the same. If there is a lot of interest i may create a website to share the information.
