The DAO was a total failure in every aspect, investing is not possible anymore.
DAO has turned in a withdraw only contract. It is not possible to invest in it anymore, and the biggest trading pairs (poloniex) have been taken down.
You can only get 1 eth per 100 DAO now and besides that the DAO is history.

I think many have already forgotten it so investing or buying it will be just a shit investment which i even can't see in any exchanger. I will say they are just dead right now and even many not wake up in future.
